El beisbol, el softbol, el baloncesto, el futbolsala y el voleibol serán entre muchos otros los deportes que más tendrán protagonismo durante las próximas cuatro semanas que durara este importante evento que como mencione antes resume el acontecer deportivo de todo un año de actividades promovidas por diferentes escuela y clubes que hacen vida dentro de nuestras comunidades.
Basketball was until not long ago a sport that was limited only to the practice of it in educational institutions such as schools and high schools in Venezuela, not being a native sport in recent years has gained increasing popularity among the youth of Zamora and that is why this sport has recently been included in the COPA CHRISTMAS 2023 organized by IMDERZA for this year end.
Baseball, softball, basketball, futbolsala and volleyball will be among many others the sports that will have the most prominence during the next four weeks that will last this important event that as I mentioned before summarizes the sporting events of a whole year of activities promoted by different schools and clubs that make life within our communities.
El Basketball
En esta sección de hoy les comentaré un poco sobre la actividad relacionada el Baloncesto, disciplina deportiva que desde mediados de año ha venido en franco crecimiento una vez que el profesor y arbitro federado Pablo Naranjo fundara una escuela local llamada ´´Canguros´´ en conjunto con otro grupo de docentes de la especialidad de educación Física se organizaran para impulsar desde sus localidades este deporte que ha ganado a muchos atletas de todas las edades a la practica de esta disciplina deportiva entre las juventudes zamoranas.

In today's section I will tell you a little about the activity related to Basketball, a sports discipline that since mid-year has been growing rapidly once the teacher and federated referee Pablo Naranjo founded a local school called ''Canguros'' together with another group of teachers of physical education specialty were organized to promote from their localities this sport that has won many athletes of all ages to the practice of this sport among the youth of Zamora.
Canguros, Toros y muchos clubes y escuelas más de la localidad y otras invitadas de municipios vecinos estarán participando estas 4 semanas en divertidos y emocionantes encuentros en las instalaciones deportivas de la cancha techada del sector ´´La Coromoto´´ un populoso barrio de la ciudad de Villa de Cura donde se han disputado grandes campeonatos en muchas disciplinas deportivas.

Kangaroos, Toros and many other clubs and schools of the locality and other invited from neighboring municipalities will be participating these 4 weeks in fun and exciting matches in the sports facilities of the roofed court of the sector ''La Coromoto'' a populous neighborhood of the city of Villa de Cura where great championships have been disputed in many sports disciplines.

Por información suministrada de parte de los entes organizadores de la COPA NAVIDAD 2023 cada parroquia está en el deber de organizar desde sus espacios los diferentes encuentros de la disciplina deportiva en relación al número de las escuela locales y las invitadas por el comité organizador, en su mayoría serán disputados en la Cancha del sector la Coromoto como se describió anteriormente. Sports fields and venues for the Basketball Tournament
According to information provided by the organizing bodies of the COPA NAVIDAD 2023 each parish is in the duty to organize from their spaces the different meetings of the sport discipline in relation to the number of local schools and those invited by the organizing committee, most of them will be played in the court of the Coromoto sector as described above. OPINIÓN:
De verdad que a titulo personal me alegra que las autoridades municipales estén de alguna manera apoyando a tantas disciplinas deportivas a realizar torneros y eventos incorporando cada vez mas a muchos jóvenes a la practica deportiva y a despegarse de momento de la realidad virtual a la que continuamente están sometidos a través del internet y las rede sociales. Aplaudo al profe. Pablo Naranjo y la docente Carlimer Rivero por promover e incentivar el Baloncesto en nuestras localidades.
OPINION:
I am really glad that the municipal authorities are somehow supporting so many sports disciplines to make tournaments and events incorporating more and more young people to the practice of sports and to detach themselves for the moment from the virtual reality to which they are continually subjected through the internet and social networks. I applaud prof. Pablo Naranjo and the teacher Carlimer Rivero for promoting and encouraging basketball in our localities.
