La semana pasado volvió a la actividad el campeonato mundial de MotoGP en Austria, luego del parón veraniego y esta semana le toca a la categoría reina del automovilismo con el Gran Premio de Países Bajos, donde Max Verstappen de la escudería RedBull es el piloto de casa y quien ha dominado esta carrera luego de su regreso al calendario de la F1. Pero de esto y mucho más, de la previa de esta carrera les comentaré más adelante. Pero no queda aquí, ya que la serie de la copa NASCAR tendrá su última carrera de la temporada regular, donde está en disputa el último cupo para los playoffs. Esta carrera de la categoría de autos stock se llevará a cabo en el súper Speedway de Daytona, siendo la segunda vez que la serie visita la pista.
Ahora bien, comenzando hablarles un poco sobre la carrera de la F1 de esta semana, es importante mencionar que al ser la primera carrera de la segunda mitad del campeonato del parón veraniego, las escudarías traen importantes actualizaciones para encarar la segunda parte del campeonato. ¿Cuál es la importancia de esto? pues con el dominio de RedBull y sobre todo de Max Verstappen, los equipos están obligados a trabajar y al menos lograr algunas victorias, a pesar de que prácticamente el campeonato este definido, pero poder lograr una victoria por los menos, será una gran motivación para la próxima campaña. Lo cierto es que pilotos de la marca de la bebida energética (RedBull) son los favoritos, sobre todo más Verstappen quien viene de ganar las dos ediciones anteriores luego del regreso de esta carrera en el Circuito de Zandvoort.
En el año 2019 se anunció que Países Bajos volvería al calendario, luego de muchos años de ausencia y seria en Zandvoort, por lo que se comenzó rápidamente a poner el trazado en las condiciones. La primera carrera en este circuito fue en el 1948 y la última carrera fue en el 1985, siendo el primer ganador Prince Bira (Maserati) y el último Niki Lauda, donde el austriaco logró un total de 3 victorias en este escenario. Obviamente con el regreso de la F1 a Holanda, pues el circuito se debía colocar en condiciones para recibir a la categoría reina, es por ello que se reasfaltado el circuito, además que se le hicieron una modificaciones a las curvas 1, 3 y 14. También la seguridad dentro de la Fórmula 1 ha cambiado desde la última vez que se había corrido en esta pista, razón por la cual las escapatorias se ampliaron y asfaltaron para mayor seguridad de los protagonistas, es decir, los pilotos. También se le realizaron nuevos accesos para entrar al circuito, además de otras mejoras necesarias. Esto de acuerdo a la información dada en su momento por la FIA (Federación Internacional de Automóvil) y las organizadores del Gran Premio de Países Bajos.
El circuito de Circuito de Zandvoort es un trazado de 4307 kilómetros, que posee un total de 14 curvas. El récord de vuelta en este circuito está en manos de Lewis Hamilton (Escudaría Mercedes) logrado en el regreso del trazado a la F1 en el año 2021, realizando un tiempo de 1:11.097, esto como tiempo de carrera, porque Verstappen ganó la pole y bajo el minuto y once segundos. El holandés se ha llevado la victoria en las últimas dos temporadas luego del regreso, siendo el último podio liderado por Verstappen como les dije anteriormente, mientras que el segunda lugar fue para George Russell y Charle Leclerc en la tercera posición. ¿Será que Max Verstappen logra nuevamente la victoria o será que hay un nuevo triunfador que rompa su hegemonía tanto en la temporada como en esta carrera? pues realmente no veo a ningún piloto que lo pueda batir, tal vez su compañero de equipo, el mexicano, Sergio "Checo" Pérez, aunque este no ha sido el mismo luego del gran inicio de temporada con dos victorias y estar peleando el título.

En carrera la mejor vuelta es para Erik Jones, quien hizo un tiempo de 43.682 segundos (206.034 mph) (331.580 km/h).
