Este domingo 02 de Abril de 2023 en el óvalo de Richmond, se disputó lo que fue la fecha número 7 del campeonato regular de la serie de la Copa NASCAR. En esta carrera resultó como ganador Kyle Larson, piloto del auto 5 Chevy de Hendrick Motorsports. Con este resultado Miyata Larson, como se le conoce a este piloto por su descendencia Japonesa, se afianza cada vez más en el campeonato y con este triunfo logra su clasificación directa para los playoffs de la categoría.
