Esta nueva aventura que contaré se realizó el domingo 13 de agosto 2023 cuando decidimos subir a Placivel, un sitio turístico que también ofrece vuelos en parapentes, se encuentra ubicado en la carretera que va desde La Victoria hacia la Colonia Tovar, ubicado en el estado Aragua-Venezuela. Hicimos la logística junto con los compañeros de La Victoria, ellos conocen muy bien esta ruta.
This new adventure that I will tell you about took place on Sunday August 13, 2023 when we decided to go up to Placivel, a tourist site that also offers paragliding flights, it is located on the road that goes from La Victoria to Colonia Tovar, located in the state of Aragua-Venezuela. We did the logistics together with the comrades from La Victoria, they know this route very well.
Salimos desde nuestra ciudad Maracay y recorrimos en vehículo 38 kilómetros aproximadamente (45 minutos) para llegar al Parador Turístico, un restaurant que permitió dejar los carros allí, se encuentra ubicado en pie de cerro. Ultimamos detalles con las bicicletas para iniciar el exigente recorrido, quienes conocen esta carretera saben el grado de dificultad que la caracteriza.
We left from our city Maracay and traveled by vehicle approximately 38 kilometers (45 minutes) to get to the Parador Turístico, a restaurant that allowed us to leave the cars there, it is located at the foot of a hill. Recorrimos un kilómetro para encontrar una subida constante entretejida en curvas regresivas que ameritan la máxima potencia para poder avanzar, los vehículos suben en la primera velocidad. Las compañeras Omaris y Andreina no habían hecho esta ruta y por supuesto no sabían lo que les esperaba. El grupo se fué dispersando, cada uno concentrado para ir superando la subida que cada vez se visualizaba mas inclinada. El sol empezó a brillar con gran intensidad para calentar nuestros cuerpos que iban a tope en respiración, fuerza y potencia.
We traveled a kilometer to find a constant climb interwoven in regressive curves that require maximum power to move forward, the vehicles climb in first gear. Our companions Omaris and Andreina had not done this route and of course did not know what awaited them. The group began to disperse, each one concentrated on overcoming the climb, which was becoming steeper and steeper. The sun began to shine with great intensity to warm up our bodies that were at full breath, strength and power.
El compañerismo impera en nuestro grupo, Julio Cesar, Richar y Aldemaro le dieron apoyo a Omaris y Andreina que quedaron atrás, igualmente ellas iban dejando plasmada la belleza del paisaje en fotografías. Loma Brisa fué la primera parada, recargamos los termos de agua y retomamos la carretera, desde allí en adelante se pone mas rudo el camino, al poco tiempo conseguimos un tramo que le llaman la pared (imagínense). Ante esto, la mente tiene un papel muy importante, he aprendido a transferir la energía de la parte superior del cuerpo hacia las piernas, mientras me digo: yo si puedo, yo si soy capaz.

Era interminable la cuesta, la temperatura cada vez mas alta pero la brisa fresca de la montaña alivió el calor, el trafico de vehículos estuvo moderado, algunos presentaron fallas por la exigencia de la carretera. Superamos el difícil tramo y llegamos a Los Cabritos, este punto permitió saber que faltaba poco para llegar al destino, nuevamente se reunió todo el grupo y al poco tiempo continuamos para entrar triunfantes por el arco que precede a la alcabala, la emoción se notaba en el rostro de cada uno por haber alcanzado el objetivo.
The slope was endless, the temperature was getting higher and higher but the cool mountain breeze relieved the heat, the vehicle traffic was moderate, some had failures due to the demands of the road. We overcame the difficult stretch and arrived at Los Cabritos, this point let us know that we were close to our destination, again the whole group gathered and soon we continued to enter triumphantly through the arch that precedes the alcabala, the emotion was evident in the face of each one for having reached the goal.
Es indescriptible lo que sentí ante este logro, Placivel está rodeado de las más hermosas montañas que mis ojos han visto, la alegría estaba presente en el ambiente y no podía faltar un baile para tik tok por parte de las chicas el cual, quedó descordinado y muy divertido porque la batería del celular estaba a punto de agotarse y no se pudo ensayar mucho. Descansamos un buen rato, para iniciar el descenso atendiendo a las recomendaciones de los expertos; bajar el sillín, respirar profundo, frenar-soltar y rezar.
It is indescribable what I felt before this achievement, Placivel is surrounded by the most beautiful mountains that my eyes have seen, the joy was present in the atmosphere and could not miss a dance to tik tok by the girls which was uncoordinated and very funny because the cell phone battery was about to run out and could not rehearse much. Se necesita coraje para hacer esta ruta, después de bajar con la adrenalina a tope recordé a Napoleon Boparte que dijo: "El coraje no es tener fuerza para continuar, es seguir cuando no tienes fuerza" quedó comprobado en este paseo. Luego del descenso, nos cambiamos para ir a almorzar y a conocer un circuito de competencia de MTB llamado La Guacamaya, ubicado también en la Victoria, había llovido y el circuito estaba resbaloso, la guinda del pastel fué cuando Mauricio nos permitió probar su bicicleta eléctrica en este terreno y nos llevamos una grata sorpresa con su comodidad y confort.
