HELLO, Hivers!It's me again,@teddysenia! Recently I made a blog about the nature of my job which is about the Farming of broiler chicken. I am encouraged to make it again because I think that there are really interesting topics about how to handle or run the broiler Chicken Industry.

Being a personnel of the said farm I know how to take care of Chickens. Not only did the flockman perform inside the facility handling the growth of the chicks but the Admin staff together with the Employer. My boss also knew well how to make broiler Chicken make perfect growth.

SAN MIGUEL FOODS, INC. Personnel, The Vet, and Doctors conducted seminars in all techniques. Before we Re-Echo to the flock man before the growth started.

Based on traditional farming broiler Chicken can be harvested in 40-45 days. Almost 2 months of counting and expenses are enlarged.

Some new adaptation techniques come from Germany but the facility must be Modernized not like in the Conventional building.

CONVENTIONAL BUILDING:
You can say the conventional type of building is an open type building. Mostly they can use traps to make perimeter fences just to secure the chicks.

The stands of chicken dung also are exposed which makes a breeding ground for flies where these times The DENR strictly prohibits conventional types of buildings. Many people are complaining about poultry farms in Conventional poultry houses.

GERMANY TUNNEL MODEL, AIR-CONDITIONED POULTRY FARM:

This kind of poultry Farm is now required and approved by the DENR. Air-conditioned and no more flies at all, but we must undergo necessary prevention of flies even if it is an air-conditioned farm.

The San Miguel Company is very strict in compliance with and protocols of the poultry Farm.
The San Miguel Company also has provided her vet. doctors, they also provide their feed farm to supply thousands of poultry farms throughout the Philippines.

DAYS TO BE HARVESTED BROILER CHICKEN:

Since Animal science, Agri-Vet is now very advanced in the calendar, days started 28-30 days that will be the exact date broiler chicken can be harvested. All good-sized seized - 1.399+1.4 grams, 1.5-1.7 + belonging to good sizes must be delivered to the SAN MIGUEL Plant.

DIGITAL WEIGHING SCALE:

All chickens must be weighed inside the coops before it is loaded by the harvesters at the harvest truck in pieces and must be checked by the farm personnel to avoid damage to the chicken.

The handling of the harvester must be handled with Care of the Chicken to become Class A which is MCDO' MAC DONALD is very sensitive to food products. The quality of chicken to serve must be first class.

2 TYPES OF HARVESTS:

  1. LIVES
  2. PROCESS

LIVES- All broiler Chicken must be weighed in approximate required weight and quantity by the customer's Orders. The harvest truck must be delivered to the customer by the given address by the San Miguel Logistics officers.

PROCESS - All available broiler chicken must be picked up and delivered to SAN Miguel Plant for processed foods excluding the runts.

WHAT IS RUNTS?
Runts Chicken included damaged, weight, and defective or rejected chickens but good for our food from neighbors of the Farm or others to Avail when the San Miguel Vet. approved already to be slaughtered.

GATE PASS/ R.S.(RECEIVING SLIP):

Receiving slips is a very important document to check, RS document is encoded:

Plate number of the truck
RS #of the truck
Truck seal #
PCs hauled quantity load
Time in of the truck
Time out at the farm
Truck Driver Signature

TRUCK SEAL:
Truck seal must only be the Admin staff, The farm Manager authorized to do so sealed on the door of the harvest truck before leaving the harvest truck at the farm.

All company protocols must be obeyed inside the farm premises to be harmonious at all times. All outside workers must log in and undergo the process of desinfections.No body is allowed to go inside the facility house without proper suits. All on-call workers must be in proper attire during the harvest period, while Harvest is ongoing.

ADMIN STAFF/FARM MANAGER:

The Admin Staff And Farm Manager must be overall in charge and Responsible for all documents, while Harvest is Ongoing. We will make sure everything is harmonious and compliant for all. All these things must become successful through effort and cooperation inside the ZES POULTRY FARM and ALMIGHTY GOD, AMEN.
