Hello hivers, @svetlana08 is back again to share with you an interesting blog. The year-end party is usually celebrated as a Christmas Party, but I have some classmates who don't celebrate Christmas because of their religion. So for today I'm gonna show you guys how our "Hollywood-Themed Year End Party" went.
How it Started š
So first and foremost, all of my classmates gathered to start our party, we had a little jamming until all my classmates were already in the classroom. Our adviser Mrs. Bacunawa sang and we sang along with her. And then since we were all gathered already, we started our party by praying and followed by singing the national anthem.
Pictorial š·
After praying and singing the national anthem we had our pictorial. Pictorial is a must at every party guys, it's our way to capture moments of our lives that won't last a lifetime. Since it was a Hollywood-themed party, we all lined up outside for us to walk on the red carpet and to do our solo pictures. Later then since the class was all done for the solo pictures, we all gathered up for our class pictures. The first batch was the boys, followed by batch 2 which was the girls, and then the last batch which was the whole class.
Game and Presentations š
After the pictorial were the games and presentations.
ā The Boat is Sinking(math edition)ā
The first game was the boat sinking(math edition). So the whole class went outside since it was hard to play it inside the classroom. Me and my classmates formed a circle, and let our adviser Mrs. Bacunawa together with our vice president and our secretary host the game. So how to play it? so basically the Boat is Sinking is a game in which participants are given the premise that the imaginary boat they are on is sinking and therefore have to form groups to make it to safety. But our game is math edition so our adviser will give me and my classmates an equation and we need to solve it, to form a group. Our adviser started it with a large to small number and some of my classmates lost already but guess what? Me and my friend and I won. We had a good time even though it was very challenging.
ā First Presentation: Jephtheh And Kimberly's Presentationā
After the game, we entered the classroom again to relax and listen to Jehptheh and Kimberly's Presentation. They sang the song "Sana Ngayong Pasko" by Ariel Rivera. We sang along and had a great time, both of them had nice and soothing voices.
ā Second Presentation: All Boys Presentationā
So you're maybe wondering what is the presentation of the boys. Yup! They danced. The boys prepared a dance for them to present at our party. They presented their dance and we all had a blast. It was so funny and all the class were laughing. I'm pretty proud of them since they prepared their dance a day before the party. I'm glad that they presented it so nicely.
Voting and Awarding for the Head Turner & Giving Gifts
ā Voting and Awarding for the Head Turnerā
So what is the "Head Turner"? Head Turner is the one who is best dressed in the party or they call it head turner because that certain person can make your head turn twice. Guess who are the head turners? Yes! My friends Jephtheh and Naomi are the head turners. After awarding the head turners we started the giving of gifts.
ā Giving Gifts: Monito, Monita ā
You may ask what "Manito, Manita", it's a secret Santa. The week before our year-end party, we wrote down on a small piece of paper our code names and our wishlist, afterwards we put it in a jar, and later on it was raffled individually. So we started it by singing a song and our president started it and then whoever is the manita/manito of our president, will continue the song and give his/her gift to his/her manita/manito, and the cycle goes on and on.
Ending š
After giving gifts, of course, we opened it and thanked our manitos and manitas. Afterward we finally ate, we lined up, and waited for our chance to have our food. Our lovely president Kimberly sang for us while we ate, so sweet of her. That's it! We ended our party and I had a really good time with them.
ā Thank you so much for reading. Merry Christmas to all the Hivers! More interesting blogs soon! ā
