Hello everyone, it is so hot these days and I am craving for some afternoon tea or coffee. A cold brew would be a great idea for a hot summer am I right? Comment down below what's your favorite thirst quenchers so that I will know.
Today, I was annoyed how hot it is in the Philippines I drank and drank lots of water but my throat keeps asking for more something different in a way I taste it my body feels that awesome feeling of coolness since it so hot. The heat sometimes reaches forty degrees and it is unbearable to just drink normal water I needed something that would awaken soul. Luckily, my beloved wife wanted to visit her school for an event and I came along after I remembered that there is a small cafe nearby the area. So, I quickly grab my things freshen up and we best got on our way afterwards she told me that she will be there for a while so i can't wait to try on the cafe.
We arrived at the area coming along excited but first I help her out with some few things and assist her with soem of her belongings needed for her school visit. After a few moments she hurried inside and tends to finish her errands while I who could not have the privilege to roam around the school ground due to strict policy I also hurried along the cafe just across the street. I get inside and was amaze of the small setup reminds me of seven eleven but more quiet and peaceful. I ordered Spanish Latte but suddenly changed my mind cause I felt dizzy due to heat and a little bit sleepy. I told the Barista to make it a cold brew instead just a plain cold brew with few sugars content in it.
The place was called Happy Cup boy for sure I was happy because it scorching hot outside and definitely needed a drink. I agree on there statement which says happiness in a cup after seeing lots of students who have been there before me happily walk out while enjoying a fresh brewed ice coffee in their hands. I was also shock of how many things you can order in their menu not only the typical ice coffee's but also refreshing juice with many flavors like strawberry and watermelon. They also had some chocolate flavored drink for kids who wants to order. I personally like caramel machiato but for today I needed some action in my nerves that's why I ordered an ice black coffee.
After an hour of waiting my wife was done and we head home I thank the barista's in that cafe for being so nice I gave them a good tip cause they showed professionalism in their job. I finished my day with a big smile cause we survived it and prepare for another day tomorrow. That's it for now fellow hivers thank for supporting and reading my blogs til nextime little giant out!
