Two of her family members died on the spot while my friend right now is in I.C.U. (Intensive Care Unit fighting for her life due to a vehicular accident.
Last February 8, 2024, a road accident occurs in Sta. Rita Samar Philippines, a collision between a tricycle and a Toyota Hilux. The impact of the two vehicles was so strong that led to the death of two people on the spot, one in critical condition and one with minor injuries.
This happened in my province and nearby in my hometown. I feel worried and investigate more whose involved and why it happened.

Upon skimming the news and the details, I was shocked when I read a familiar name. My friend was one person in the accident and the two dead on the spot were her sister and her brother-in-law, while she was the one in critical condition fighting for life.
I'm not at ease, I search deeply and visit the social media of her family and it is confirmed.
My friend is from Sweden, and she works far from her family to support them and also for her future. She went home a few weeks before the accident together with her fur cat named Sol (Sol is from Manila). Upon arriving at the airport in Tacloban from Manila Philippines, the cat is held in the Bureau of Animals for quarantine. After a few days, the Bureau of Animals called them that they could get their cat already. So they went to Tacloban together with her brother-in-law and younger sister using their tricycle. When on their way back home they pass Brgy. Bagolibas, Sta. Rita, Samar National Road. They skipped a broken part of the road and crossed the other lane and at that time a collision between a Toyota Hilux and a tricycle happened and the accident occur and losses two lives.
It is one of the deepest times of the family, losing two loved ones in an instant and one still in critical condition. Some of their family are mournering at their house while some busy finding blood donors and financial support for the surgery operation of my friend.
I knew her during my high school days, were not in the same school, we met during one school event competition and started our connection also with the other participants. We seldom catch up with each other and update through social media.
She is a friend that you didn't even talk to or chat with for years and you still have a genuine connection. Knowing her she is the one who can offer help in an instant if you need it.
But this time, she is the one who needs help. As of this time, she is undergoing multiple surgery operations, she needs blood donors due to a lot of blood loss. She has a bone fracture in her hips that needs of orthopedic and She's still in I.C.U. for close monitoring.
Right now we need your prayers and small support for her life recovery and sustain the things she needs in the hospital. 100% of the reward for this blog will be sent to her family for her hospital expenses.
