HivePH Update: More Incentives for Delegators

TL:DR You get more delegation rewards based on the proportion of delegations you make to the @hivephilippines account. You'll receive these rewards from the @hivephtips account.

As previously announced here

The distribution will be in proportion to how much you're delegating to @hivephilippines and only accounts that have delegated beyond 7 days are eligible. Each month, we use a portion of the funds generated by the community account on Hive Engine Tokens and our holdings have generated some consistent rewards which will be shared to the rest of the community members that are part of building this community up. This isn't as effective as owning the Hive Engine tokens yourselves but in a way, your HP delegated gives you a piece of the liquid Hive rewards from these tokens.

IMPORTANT:

It takes at least 7 days after delegating to make your account eligible for these rewards.

How often will these distribution take place?

At least once a month. We're not really talking about a large amount of Hive collected here so it's easy to miss. The value grows if we get to stack more Hive Engine tokens, people voting on @hiveph posts, delegating to @hivephilippines and even setting hiveph / hivephilippines as beneficiary to your posts for donations.

The goal is to keep growing the sources of income to offset the costs of delegating and even have a surplus of rewards.

Another important reminder:

This will never be overstated enough but voteme privileges are still privileges and not a right. Anyone whoever feels entitled to the votes should reexamine why delegators are willing to let their HP be borrowed to distribute the votes.

It doesn't matter if the post isn't quality content, whatever that means. As long as it's not spam, plagiarized, AI generated and within the guidelines of voteme usage, it's fine. We're not looking to support elite bloggers and try to keep our resources be available for almost everyone that's willing to be part of the community.

For those members and non-members that feel sour or entitled to the votes, especially the ones that aren't even delegating but cashing out more. For whatever life circumstances you find yourself into that prompts you to powerdown, that's your money and your business. We respect that choice and you do you.

Just don't think like you've been wronged by people who chose to keep their Hive staked and delegated to the community accounts because these delegators are the reason why some can sustain their cashing out habits. I mean, whales, orcas, dolphins and minnows in the Hive ecosystem retain their status as that based on their HP because they don't powerdown. And because of this choice, their stake can sometimes be used to vote on people that have no interest in building on their own accounts.

Like I said earlier, whatever you do with your money is your business but don't ever think that this community or anyone who chooses to stake their HP ever owes you a vote if your whole modus was only extracting as much value as you can without paying the favor forward. There's a reason why 50/50 is set where author rewards can be in HBD and HP. The HP can remain staked while you can cash out with the HBD in balance.
