It is always important to look back and be thankful for whatever goes along our way. Just recently, our school, Tuburan National High School, held a holy mass at our school chapel which was attended by all the students, faculty and staff.

If you were to ask me what am I grateful for? I am grateful for this job that I have now, I am grateful for my family, for good health of the people closest to my heart, and so much more. There are just so much to be thankful for.

Sometimes in life, we always pray and ask, but once we are given and granted, we tend to forget and become ungrateful. That should not be the case, because no matter what we go through in life, it should still honor Him and we must not forget to give thanks to Him, as always. This thanksgiving mass is the perfect time to give back and sing our praises.

The priest was an alumna here at Tuburan National High School which made the celebration extra special. Imagine he used to just go to school here but now here he is, celebrating the holy mass. Something to be thankful for indeed.

He even had a speech sharing his past experiences here in our school, Tuburan National High School, how unexpected it is that this day, he'll be coming back here as a priest. He is thankful for all his good experiences here.

The songs were sung by our school choir and it was such a beautiful thing to hear, such pleasant music to the ears, hearing them sing the songs of the Lord.

I am not sure how often they conduct Thanksgiving Masses, but when they do, all the learners from Grade 7 until Grade 12 are required to join.

So as with the teachers, all the teachers and staff are required to join the holy mass. Some of my co-teachers are not Roman Catholics but they paid respect.

After the holy mass, all of us teachers, joined by the priest took a group photo. Since we just got hired last 19th of August,2024, we still do not have our school uniforms yet but we already ordered ours, according to the sastry, we can get it by the third week of September.

After the mass, we had some snacks. Here are the foods we prepared for everyone.

It is such a good time sharing good food with good company. I cherish moments like these, being able to enjoy the company of my co-teachers.

After our snack, our school head informed us that we will be having a meeting.

Tuburan National High School is a massive school, having 100+ teachers as a total both Junior High School and Senior High School. Handling such huge population is indeed a challenge.

Our school head discussed some important matters regarding our school forms, school activities and so much more.

It was such a productive day indeed. Til next time! Ciao!☺️
