Once again BCBP Family celebrates its anniversary last September 7,2024. This year is the 7th anniversary of being a chapter and the 20th anniversary as an outreach. So we planned very well before the celebration for the realization of this big event and to make our celebration successful and meaningful. This year, our theme is "Grow spirituality through love, humility, and service." Before the day of the event, we had our practice for our presentation for two nights with unlimited food and drinks sponsored by the host venue of our practice. They very generous couple who belonged to our team. On our anniversary, the event started with a mass at San Vicente Ferrer and was followed by a motorcade going to the venue traversing the entire Bogo City. The venue of our celebration was Hesoler Beach Resort, Nailon, Bogo, Cebu. When we arrived at the venue snacks were served. There were lots of snacks offered donated by the generous members of the community. There were coffee, milo, and kakanin. We took our snacks first before having our breakfast meeting.
After breakfast, we enjoyed our sumptuous lunch. Then we prepared ourselves for part 4 of the celebration, which was the program proper. The program started with a prayer and a Welcome Address delivered by the event coordinator of our community. After welcoming the participants every group presented their amazing performances. Other groups delivered a song while others showcased their dance performance. There were groups from the governance team, from the single, the intercessory, and the CLP 17. After every presentation, various messages were delivered to inspire everyone in the community.
The celebration ended with a raffle draw. Unlucky I was not able to win any of the prizes but still I'm happy. One of our co-members, who was also my co-teacher in Tabogon and co-hives, won the major awards, which were the gas and burner. The celebration was very successful, and it was a testament to the unity and cooperation of all the community members.
