I'm Chaise, I'm New and I'm Thinking...

Greetings everyone, my name is Malcolm, though I prefer to be called by my online persona “Chaise”. As this is my introduction post, I would like to be direct about a few of my personal details as:

  • I am currently in my adolescent years.

  • I am currently studying as a STEM student at the University of Cebu (Senior High School Student).

  • I currently reside in the Province of Cebu in the Philippines.

  • My hobbies include reading, journaling, late night walks after school, cooking, and testing out fragrances.

  • I like donuts, they’re irresistible.

  • I hate cheese flavored biscuits, though I love cheese as an ingredient when I cook an actual dish.

If I were to describe myself in one word, Peculiar would be my answer.

What to expect from my blogs?

I’m into reading, even though I consider it to still be in its infant stages. I’ve been enthusiastic about being able to absorb information and imagine the concepts inside of an imaginary world full of stories, ideas, characters which is bound to a soft texture of processed cellulose fibers which we call "paper" :3.

With that mentioned, the books that I read are centered towards a theme of learning and reflection of our daily lives and how we can improve ourselves from it.

Personally I’m lenient towards the philosophical themes in these books as I use these ideas for myself to be pushed towards beyond the boundaries of finding the answers to life's hardest questions of our lives and how we face them.

The Philosophical Project.

A personal life-long mission of mine, though ambitious, is for myself to develop my mind with both an abundant amount of experiences and adequate thinking capacity to be able to think creatively and to be able to have the personal fulfilling answers to life’s existential questions.

I do believe that art is learning, and that the process of learning itself is art. No matter how challenging it may be, the journey of learning is what I see to be a good representation of long-term joy for the human mind. That is how I percieve it.

HIVE?

I’ve been introduced about HIVE from a family member of mine @wittyzell . As she thought that this platform would be a great way for me to express and document my reading journey, and how I would be able to share it to other people. Thank you sister for giving me this opportunity to do so!

If there are any questions regarding to anything related to myself & my future content, I would greatly appreciate answering them.
