Testing at Molta Malta

Last night we had our second dApp test. This time was at Molta Malta bar, owned by Synera Brewery. Marc, the owner asked us to show up just before he opens, at 6 pm so we created the brand NFT and some QR codes to encourage the clients to "catch" the NFT and start their collection.

Molta Malta means "Lots of Malt" in Catalan, it is a small place in the middle of Mataro, a mid-size town north of Barcelona. Marc, who launched the craft beer brand several years ago, decided to move forward a year and a half ago and opened the bar. He told me that was the best decision he could have made, he loves the direct contact with the audience.

We spent a few minutes making him and his crew go through the onboarding process and explaining to them all they can do with the service. They are attending a local festival today and he decided to also give away the NFTs to those attending showing up at the festival. They also organize the Arenys de Mar Beer Festival, and he already asked about creating the NFT for that festival.

The bar is a small but very cool place and has a great terrace outside, the audience is mostly local and Marc decided to give a small introduction speech explaining the project to them before we started approaching and helping those willing to test.

All in all, it was great to test the improvements we made from the last test to make it more "understandable" for users to "catch" (claim) their NFT when it appears on the screen and check it on their collection afterward. We talked to them answering their questions and some told us they would stop by the Barcelona Festival in a couple of weeks.

Here's a screenshot of the dApp of one of us showing the NFTs we are already holding Wylie and Sinera beer.

Before leaving I had the pleasure to toast with Marc after he kindly invited us to try a couple of his little creatures!

We are getting closer and closer to the launch date. Still lots of things to do and prepare but we are all enjoying it!
