The combination of sweet and spicy flavors is mainly the domain of Asian cuisine. Today I made just such a combination, but the beer is sweet and the goulash soup is spicy, which I love.
Połączenie smaków słodkich i ostrych, to domena głównie kuchni azjatyckiej. Dzisiaj zrobiłem właśnie takie zestawienie, z tym, że słodkie jest piwo, a ostra zupa gulaszowa, którą uwielbiam.
The composition of goulash soup is not complicated. All you need is about 1 kg of good and lean pork, sweet and hot peppers, or tomato puree, onion, carrot and parsley.
Skład zupy gulaszowej ni jest skomplikowany. Wystarczy około 1 kg dobrego i chudego mięsa wieprzowego, papryka słodka i ostra, o, lub przecier pomidorowy, cebula, marchewka pietruszka i seler.
After frying the meat and onion, stew everything in tomato sauce with all the vegetables. It is best served with white bread, but you can make a version with diced potatoes.
Po podsmażeniu mięsa i cebuli całość dusimy w sosie pomidorowym z dodatkiem wszystkich warzyw. Podajemy najlepiej z białym pieczywem, ale można zrobić wersję z ziemniakami pokrojonymi w kostkę.

Plus, of course, a cold beer. This time it was a young brewery, because it was established only in 1968. Nevertheless, it produces quite good beers. Pils Łomża beer is dry-hopped with quite good Żatecki hops, but for me there is too little bitterness in it and it is a bit too sweet.
Do tego oczywiście zimne piwko. Tym razem padło na młody browar, bo powstał dopiero w 1968 roku. Niemniej jest producentem dość dobrych piw. Piwo Pils Łomża jest chmielone na zimno dość dobrym chmielem Żateckim, niemniej dla mnie za mało jest w nim goryczki, i jest trochę za słodkie.

The color of the beer is light, tea-like, but the head is weak and disappears quickly. The pleasant beer smell and sweet taste make it a drink intended more for the fair sex.
Kolor piwa jest jasny, herbaciany, natomiast piana słaba, szybko opada. Przyjemny piwny zapach i słodkawy smak powoduje, ze jest to trunek przeznaczony bardziej dla płci pięknej.
It is quite strong for a light beer, because it contains 6 percent alcohol, so it is suitable for spicy dishes, because capsaicin is contained in hot peppers and can only be dissolved in alcohol. This is sometimes useful when we overdo the spiciness of a dish.
Jest dość mocne jak na piwo jasne, bo zawiera 6 procent alkoholu, dlatego też nadaje się do potraw ostrych, gdyż kapsaicynę zawatrą w ostrych paprykach, można rozpuścić jedynie w alkoholu. Przydaje się to czasami, gdy przesadzimy z ostrością potrawy.
