Skład kapusty zasmażanej jest prosty. Potrzeba dobrej jakości kapustę kiszoną, oraz boczek wędzony, liść laurowy, pieprz, sól, rosół, cebula, trochę mąki i masła. W zasadzie to sama kapusta zasmażana z boczkiem stanowi dość sytą strawę.

Nazywano je różnie, w zależności od regionu. Jedni mówili na nie "beczółka", na Śląsku mówiło się na nie "granat" - bowiem kształtem przypominały trochę prawdziwe granaty używane podczas wojny.
The beer is slightly bitter, a classic lager, but has about 6% alcohol content, so it is more of a light, strong beer.
Piwo jest lekko goryczkowate, klasyczny lager, ale ma około 6 % zawartości alkoholu, wiec należy bardziej do piw jasnych mocnych.
The beer is quite sweet, with little bitterness. Even though the foam was cooled to a temperature of about plus 10 degrees, it was thick and subsided quickly. The delicate taste of beer means that it should be intended for women. Although the "pomegranate" shape of the bottle reminds me very well and brings back many memories from my youth.
Piwo dość słodkie, z małą ilością goryczki. Piana mimo schłodzenia do temperatury około plus 10 stopni wytworzyła się gęsta, ale szybko opadła. Delikatny smak piwa stawia powoduje, ze raczej powinno być przeznaczone dla kobiet. Chociaż forma butelki w kształcie "granata" bardzo mi się dobrze kojarzy i nasuwa wiele wspomnień z młodzieńczych lat.
