Beerlover + Saturday = #BeerSaturday #8 - Triglav (Hestse Tripel)

Hello Hivers!

Time for another #BeerSaturday, but this time something special. I brew my own beer, also put it on the market very locally, and so we were at a beer festival for charity today.
But it turned out to be a real disaster in terms of attendance, and the organization also left a lot to be desired.

We were there with 6 local brewers, and we were all ready this morning.

The beer festival started at 12 noon, but we soon realized that there would not be a large turnout of beer lovers.

My intention was to write an article about a beer festival, but then you expect atmospheric images, where fun is being made here and there and plenty of beer is tasted.
However, my atmospheric images show the fiasco that this beer festival was!

For the kids there were 2 castles where they could have the time of their lives!

The only positive thing was a lottery. You could buy a ticket, and there were a lot of prices.

It was also a total fiasco regarding food. Both visitors and exhibitors were served fries with a curry sausage, or a sandwich with a hamburger.
To explain briefly, we had to beg as exhibitors to get something, and yes, 2 times a whole day we could get something for free, but we had to make a choice.
The fries were not the best, the currywurst was still ok, but the hamburger, it was totally unbearable.

Moreover, the problem was that the few visitors also went to the organizer's stand to get their soft drinks and beer, and that the 6 of us just stood by and could do no more than undergo it.
And ... there were a few people, nothing more!

At 7:00 pm we decided to contact the organizer, and asked if we should be there any longer, because it wasn't going to change.
The organizer understood, and so we left with the 6 brewers, before another performance would start at 8:00 pm by a local live band.

At 8:15 pm I was already back home, where originally the festival was supposed to last until 11:00 pm.

And so I decided at home to round off my #BeerSaturday with another tripel of myself.
I made the recipe of the beer personally, and after 3 attempts to brew the beer, after some adjustments we achieved the beer we wanted.

A simple triple, because I like pure beer without adding herbs or special things, with 3 hops, and nothing more than water, barley, yeast and ... patience!
Alcohol volume 7,7%, so nice to drink on a summer day, but don't take to much of it! Kind bitterness and sweetness in the beer, and a good white foam on it.
Of course unfiltered, so if you want to taste the yeast, you have to pull the whole bottle in your glass!

And it made up for my disastrous Saturday a little bit. While enjoying my own triple, I finished this article, and so I can look down on a disastrous day, but a nice ending!

Have a nice weekend everyone!
cheers!
