#beersaturday BrewDog Black Heart

Wow Hivers so much for having to fly to Dublin to get a good pint of stout. Don’t laugh I’ve done that, not just for the Guinness true, but two weekends in a row with some mates and ended up drinking 41/2 gallons of the dark and foamy nectar so you could say I have a taste for it and it’s true what they say about the best pint of Guinness is at the Factory in Dublin. But not anymore OK it’s not Guinness but BrewDog Black Heart has become one of my favourite stouts very drinkable and available 1 mile away in my local supermarket.

Dark creamy with a chocolate smoothness it’s an amazing pint a 4.1% ABV it’s not overly strong but very tasty it arrives in cans with one of those wigget things in the bottom of the can.

So it poured very easily with just a slight tilt of the glass at the start to stop the head foaming too quickly but you do end up with a very good looking pint with out a lot of effort.

The head is a lovely rich cream over the dark liquid stout but you can end up with a foam moustache if you’re not careful.

It also holds the head right to the bottom of the glass which can’t be said for all beers. If you like your stout chilled it tastes as good out of the fridge as it does straight from the box.

So Hivers all in all a great stout and good for the environment too think of all the air miles it’s shaving off my carbon footprint.
