Last April 19 was my birthday, so I went shopping together with my girlfriend to have a small meeting in my house, walking through the aisles of the supermarket I managed to see a beer that I had never heard of, it's called Belga Star really caught my attention because I'm a fan of beer and I always try to try new brands, then I'll tell you about this new beer that I've tried.
Without thinking twice I added a few to our shopping cart and took them home to put them to cool, since I really like my beer very cold.
Once I tasted the beer, I noticed that it has a strong alcohol flavor, more than what is customary to consume in these parts, but in reality it was very delicious, its bitter taste with hints of malt combined perfectly with the amount of alcohol it contained, testing it in more detail I could detect the flavor of hops and barley, it also had a very delicious roasted flavor.
To be honest, I must admit that at first I thought it was a dark beer due to its intense flavor, but it was a light lager, it reminded me a lot of a local beer brand but with a stronger touch of alcohol. Detailing what the can said, I could tell that it is an imported beer from Spain, I have already tried several Spanish beers and I can say that I liked them all, this Belga Star made my birthday very memorable, since it was very pleasant to take it while listening to music and watching some videos.
If they asked me if I would recommend it, I would say absolutely yes, since I liked it a lot, in fact I really like beers with a strong flavor, I hate light ones, because for me the latter have very reduced flavors or at least that has been my experience tasting them.
