Abbaye de Leffe brewery has its roots in the Norbertines monastery producing Leffe beer since 1240. So the beer I tried suits its tradition. It is of premium quality and very delicate taste. I fully recommend this dark brown beer. Roasted malt is used to produce it. So you can subtly feel that roasted aroma. As well as light bitterness through the notes of caramel and sweetness.
Although the beer is now produced by AB-InBev on a larger scale, the producer managed to keep that premium taste and quality like it is produced in a small monastery. It is nicely packaged. And recommended serving temperature is 5°C. So it suits hot summer days, like it was on the picture bellow on my vacation at Croatian coast.
