Greetings, Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and surrounding communities!

Well, we have arrived at the final Caturday in the month of June 2024, and I am quite ready to wave goodbye to this one!

Happy to have comfy napping spots!

I can't remember a colder or wetter June around here. I asked the Dad-Hooman to check his local weather station, and it has rained significantly for 13 days this month... compared to our normal of 4-5 days!

Facts like these make me feel very grateful that I am an indoor cat and not forced to fend for myself outside!

Quite a few people have asked about the "future kittens" but all I can offer is that the Hoomans are intending to add two new kittens to the household, later this summer.

They are going on a week long trip out of state during the latter part of July, so no kittens until after that!

Because we live in a world with lots of homeless cats and kittens, they will likely come from the same local animal shelter where the Hoomans adopted me!

It's unlikely that we'll be adopting any "fancy" cats, given how many cats are in need of finding their forever home!

There will definitely be a lot of life and energy in the house when they arrive, and LOTS more cat photos!

Of course, the Hoomans are also sad about all the rain and cold weather, mostly because everything in their vegetable garden is hardly growing at all!

I guess that's the thing about the weather... you can never really tell what is going to happen!

Of course, that's not the only way it feels like it has been "raining."

The crypto markets continue to feel very shaky, and our Hive token remains pretty much in the basement, and I am not seeing any signs of improvement.

We can but hope that the 3rd quarter of the year will be better!

Sometimes I just feel like hiding!

Wish I had something more cheerful to offer for the Caturday update, but that'll be something we get to look forward to!

There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!
