Greetings, Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and surrounding communities!

Another day filled with kitten cuteness at our place, as Shangri and Lala start to relax more and feel less skittish whenever someone enters the room.

Kittens have seemingly endless energy... until they keel over and take a really long nap.

Playtime is popular, and helps them forget to be nervous about their new surroundings... which are getting less "new" by the moment.

Yesterday, they didn't feel entirely safe being on the bed and away from their nearest hidey-hole... but just one more day has made a lot of difference in their little worlds!

Of course, Lala already knows the sound of "treats" and immediately breaks away from playtime, as soon as something is in the offing!

As they settle in and feel more comfortable, we're getting closer to the first experiment with letting them freely roam the house.

Not sure how I'm going to deal with that... time will tell! After all, I am getting to be a "mature" cat, now!

I'm just going to watch, from here. SO much energy!

Thankfully, the Hoomans are taking lots of time to do "playtime" with them, so they get to burn off some of all that kitten energy!

It's hard to believe they have only been here for a little over two days!

The people at the shelter cautioned us that they were "a bit skittish" and might take some time to warm up and trust people... but it's going pretty well.

Meanwhile, we're very grateful for Hive as a venue to document these two young floofs and their progress through life!

Of course, there is only one original "Curator Cat," but there's room for everyone on this stage!

We have also learned that their particular "crazy kitty hour" seems to go from about 11:00pm till 1:00am.

Which is actually OK, since the Hoomans often work fairly late, anyway. The joy of self-employed Hoomans!

There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!
