Hoy paso a contarles uno de los cambios que me pidieron mis jefes con respecto a los vehículos que se encuentran estacionados dentro de mi trabajo.

Today I am going to tell you about one of the changes that my bosses asked me to make regarding the vehicles that are parked inside my workplace.
Como pueden observar, todo el edificio está en un proceso de mantenimiento y reparación. Estos edificios que están ubicados en el barrio de San Telmo en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires fueron nombrados "Patrimonio histórico", por lo tanto, además de la restauración, deben respetar el diseño original y a mí me toco organizar y reestructurar las diferentes cocheras del mismo.
As you can see, the entire building is undergoing maintenance and repair. These buildings, which are located in the San Telmo neighborhood in the City of Buenos Aires, were named "Historic Heritage", therefore, in addition to restoration, they must respect the original design and I was in charge of organizing and restructuring the different garages of the building.
Realmente es muy difícil tener que decidir que persona tiene autorizado estacionar su vehículo y quien no. Sin el respaldo de un subsecretario y del ministro me sería imposible. Por suerte, con todo el apoyo y la confianza, comencé a hacer esta selección junto a personas que están en el tema de la dirección en donde trabajo.
Hay que organizar 3 lugares en el edificio principal (agricultura) y 2 en el edificio secundario (Azopardo). En agricultura están los 35 lugares en la calle estacionando en 45 grados. Luego está la calle interna entre edificios que te da 30 lugares y para finalizar hay otros 22 lugares en paseo colon 922. 🧐
It is really very difficult to have to decide who is authorized to park their vehicle and who is not. Without the support of an undersecretary and the minister it would be impossible. Luckily, with all the support and trust, I began to make this selection together with people who are in the field of the department where I work.
There are 3 places to organize in the main building (agriculture) and 2 in the secondary building (Azopardo). In agriculture there are 35 places on the street parking at 45 degrees. Then there is the internal street between buildings that gives you 30 places and finally there are another 22 places at Paseo Colon 922. 🧐
Una vez definida la lista de autorizados, había que programar el ingreso por el portón eléctrico con credencial, además de darle paso por el molinete de ingreso/egreso de PC922, además de a todos ellos el ingreso por la barrera.
Esta logística además conllevaba la toma fotográfica y de huellas de cada uno de los dueños de estos vehículos. Sin duda se vienen unas jornadas de intenso trabajo. Igual para mí todo desafío es bienvenido y me siento capaz de realizarlo. 💪
Once the list of authorized persons was defined, it was necessary to schedule entry through the electric gate with a credential, in addition to giving them passage through the PC922 entry/exit turnstile, in addition to all of them entering through the barrier.
This logistics also involved taking photographs and fingerprints of each of the owners of these vehicles. Without a doubt, there will be some days of intense work ahead. For me, however, every challenge is welcome and I feel capable of doing it. 💪
Y por supuesto, también nos toca organizar el nuevo edificio adquirido sobre la calle Azopardo. Aquí hay 18 cocheras en la planta baja y 32 en el subsuelo.
Es increíble lo que creció esto desde que se independizó. Antes eran como mucho unos 30 autos y nada más. 😮
And of course, we also have to organize the new building acquired on Azopardo Street. There are 18 parking spaces on the ground floor and 32 in the basement.

¡Y no solo los autos, sino que también debemos designar los espacios para las motos (hay varias en la lista porque hay mucho correo en este edificio) y también bicicletas! 😵
Además de dar los permisos y asignar los espacios, debemos tenerlos bien enfocados en las nuevas cámaras para tener la máxima seguridad posible ante posibles robos (que los hay y muchos).
And not just cars, but we also need to designate spaces for motorcycles (there are several on the list because there is a lot of mail in this building) and also bicycles! 😵
In addition to giving permits and assigning spaces, we need to have them well focused on the new cameras to have the maximum possible security against possible thefts (which there are many).
Mi gran mano derecha en las cocheras, "Don Raúl", es quien prepara un rico asado para disfrutar mientras debatimos los lugares que se van a asignar. Él es una persona que hace más de 10 años trabaja en las cocheras del ministerio y se sabe todo. No solo los nombres de todos, sino cada patente y auto que ingresa y egresa del mismo. ¡Tiene una memoria fotográfica increíble! 😱
Buena gente, deséenme suerte. Tengo que entregar todo este listado y preparar los permisos en el sistema en el término de 15 días. ¡Así qué manos a la obra! 😃💪
My right-hand man in the garage, "Don Raúl", is the one who prepares a delicious barbecue to enjoy while we debate the places that will be assigned. He is a person who has worked in the garages of the ministry for more than 10 years and knows everything. Not only everyone's names, but every license plate and car that enters and leaves the garage. He has an incredible photographic memory!😱
