Holaaa acá ando yo de nuevo, el día de hoy me gustaría compartir con ustedes mi experiencia en el primer encuentro de robótica para estudiantes en mi estado, fue algo emocionante pero a la vez me dió muchos nervios jsj, sin nada más que decir comencemos.
That day I arrived at school at about 8:30 a.m. because at 9 a.m. I had to leave with my classmates to the institution where the meeting would take place, to tell the truth I prepared myself a lot and my bag was equipped with alcohol along with several sweets for the old man because I tend to get dizzy a lot and I have a very bad time -.-''.
Ese día llegué al colegio a eso de las 8:30 ya que a las 9 de la mañana debía partir con mis compañeros a la institución en dónde se llevaría a cabo el encuentro, a decir verdad me preparé muchísimo y mi bolso estaba equipado con alcohol junto con varios dulces para el viejo ya que tiendo a marearme mucho y lo paso bastante feo -.-''
We arrived at the school at the right time and went straight up to the auditorium to place our stand on the table where we would share a place with another institution from the same state. At that moment I was very nervous because I was afraid of saying something wrong when presenting our project, my teacher noticed my nervousness so she gave me a few words of support to reassure me; then together with her and my friend we filled out the name card and took some pictures at the place.
Llegamos a buena hora al colegio y subimos directo al auditorio para colocar nuestro stand en la mesa en dónde compartiríamos lugar con otra institución del mismo estado. En ese momento me encontraba muy nerviosa ya que temía decir algo mal a la hora de presentar nuestro proyecto, mi profesora notó mi nerviosismo así que me dió unas palabras de apoyo para tranquilizarme; luego junto con mi ella y mi amiga llenamos la ficha de nombres y aprovechamos de tomarnos unas fotitos en el lugar.
While we were waiting for the event to start, I didn't miss the opportunity to do some interviews with the other students to see what their projects were about, since I was curious and it was material for the school newspaper. The truth is that there were many that were very good and I was surprised that most of them, being elementary school children, had done something like this, without a doubt it was incredible.
Mientras esperábamos a que el evento comenzara no perdí la oportunidad de hacer unas pequeñas entrevistas a los otros estudiantes para ver de qué se trataban sus proyectos ya que me daba curiosidad y era material para el periódico escolar. La verdad es que habían muchos que estaban muy bien y me sorprendió que la mayoría al ser niños de primaria hayan hecho algo así, sin dudas fue increíble.
After half an hour the activity began and each school presented their projects, there were several, among them I remember that there was a water filter, doorbell, but the most remarkable were the robots, I was very surprised to see it and there were 2 institutions that developed them, one of them developed a robot for educational activities and on the other hand 2 groups of children developed robots, one of them that advance by remote control and another that advances according to orders that were given and that blew my mind because they were children! Without a doubt they are incredible.
Después de media hora dió inicio la actividad y cada colegio fue presentando sus proyectos, habían varios, entre ellos recuerdo que había un filtro de agua, timbre, pero lo más destacable fueron los robots, me sorprendió mucho verlo y habían 2 instituciones que los elaboraron, una de ellas elaboró un robot para actividades educativas y por parte de la otra 2 grupos de niños elaboraron robots, uno de ellos que avanzan a control remoto y otro que avanza según órdenes que le daban y eso me voló la cabeza porque ¡Eran niños! Sin dudas son increíbles.
Together with my group we were for a long time waiting for them to call us but nothing, until finally they called us last and we went out to defend our electric generator, I was the last to speak because I had to raise the solutions that can provide our generator and the issues addressed at the time of making it, I got a little nervous because the teachers present had a pretty intimidating air haha, but in the end we did it and we were congratulated.
Junto con mi grupo estuvimos durante un graan tiempo esperando a que nos llamaran pero nada, hasta que al final nos llamaron de últimos y salimos a defender nuestro generador eléctrico, fui la última en hablar ya que debía plantear las soluciones que puede brindar nuestro generador y los temas abordados a la hora de realizarlo, me puse algo nerviosa ya que las profesoras presentes tenía un aire bastante intimidante jaja, pero al final lo logramos y nos felicitaron.
When all the exhibitions were finished we went to the dining room to receive refreshments, I also took the opportunity to snack on the cookies I had brought but I was amazed to see that they even had a cafeteria in that school, I would like to study there in another life jsjs.
Cuando finalizaron todas las exposiciones fuimos al comedor para recibir el refrigerio, también aproveché de merendar las galletas que había llevado pero estaba maravillada al ver que hasta tenían cafetería en ese colegio, me gustaría estudiar allí en otra vida jsjs.
After that little lunch I took the opportunity to go to the bathroom and went to the school library (very nice by the way), then I continued with my group to the parking lot to leave, however we had a little surprise and that is that the car would not start, even had to call the security man to see if he could help us and he was there for a while but nothing, so my friend and I sat down to talk for a while because it was something that was going for a long time ....
Luego de ese pequeño almuerzo aproveché de ir al baño y pasé por la biblioteca del colegio (muy linda por cierto), después continúe con mi grupo hasta al estacionamiento para retirarnos, sin edía ayudar y estuvo un buen rato allí pero nada, así que mi amiga ymbargo tuvimos una pequeñita sorpresa y es que el auto no prendía, hasta se tuvo que llamar al señor de seguridad a ver si nos po yo nos sentamos a charlar un rato ya que era algo que iba para largo...
After a while I made it home and told my mom what my experience was like, that was my bye day!
Después de un buen rato logré llegar a casa y le conté a mi mamá que tal fue mi experiencia, ese fue mi día bye!
