¿Qué tal amigos de Lifestyle? ¡Feliz viernes! Espero que tengan un gran fin de semana, el mío promete ser muy bueno y ya les contaré luego sobre ello. ¿Recuerdan que hace un tiempo les había comentado que participé en una camina por la lucha del cáncer de mama? Pues, había olvidado compartir un post sobre eso y las fotos habían quedado guardadas casi en el olvido hasta que las conseguí y recordé traerlas a mi blog. Ahora, para ponerlos en contexto se trata de una carrera/ caminata que se hace cada año en el mes de octubre, mes de la lucha contra el cáncer de mama, esta actividad es organizada por el Centro Comercial Servimas con el patrocinio de una gran cantidad de negocios de la ciudad, este año fue la cuarta edición de esa actividad y mi segunda participación, aquí les cuento un poco de toda esa experiencia.

Do you remember that a while ago I told you that I participated in a walk to fight breast cancer? Well, I had forgotten to share a post about that and the photos had been almost forgotten until I got them and remembered to bring them to my blog. Now, to put them in context, it is a race/walk that takes place every year in the month of October, month of the fight against breast cancer, this activity is organized by the Servimas Shopping Center with the sponsorship of a large number of businesses in the city, this year was the fourth edition of that activity and my second participation, here I tell you a little about that entire experience.
Apenas anunciaron la fecha de la caminata yo estuve muy al pendiente para hacer mi inscripción y ya con mi kit en manos solo tuve que esperar que llegara el día para asistir. Este año la actividad se llevó a cabo el sábado 21 de octubre, en ese entonces yo me encontraba trabajando, por lo que tuve que pedir un permiso ese día para salir un poco antes para poder asistir a la caminata. Ese día me desocupé temprano en mi trabajo haciendo todos los pendientes a tiempo para poder salir, me sobraba algo de tiempo y mi compañera de trabajo me ayudó haciéndome un lindo peinado que me gustó mucho y era perfecto para la ocasión.
Cuando llegó la hora salí de mi trabajo y me fui directo al Servimas que me quedaba a tan solo 3 minutos de distancia en carro, al llegar el lugar estaba repleto de gente, sobre todo mujeres que esperaban el inicio de la actividad, ni siquiera había lugar para estacionarse, así que me quedé allí mientras mi pareja fue a llevar el carro a casa de sus padres que queda muy cerca de allí. Me uní al grupo de mujeres y di un paseo por el lugar mientras aun no comenzaba la actividad y fue entonces cuando me encontré con la hiver @enovf que iba a participar en la carrera.
As soon as they announced the date of the walk, I was very attentive to register and with my kit in hand I just had to wait for the day to arrive to attend. This year the activity took place on Saturday, October 21, at that time I was working, so I had to ask for permission that day to leave a little earlier to be able to attend the walk. That day I left work early doing all the tasks in time to go out, I had some time left and my coworker helped me by making me a nice hairstyle that I really liked and it was perfect for the occasion.
When the time came, I left work and went directly to Servimas, which was just 3 minutes away by car. When I arrived, the place was full of people, especially women waiting for the start of the activity. There wasn't even a place to park, so I stayed there while my partner went to take the car to his parents' house, which is very close by. I joined the group of women and took a walk around the place while the activity had not yet started and that was when I met the hiver @enovf who was going to participate in the race.
Justamente ese día el clima no era bueno, tenía tiempo que no llovía por estos lados y ese día decidí llover y mucho, eso retrasó un poco la actividad y mientras se esperaba que cesara la lluvia se hizo un breve calentamiento antes de empezar.
Exactly that day the weather was not good, it had not rained in these parts for a while and that day I decided to rain a lot, that delayed the activity a little and while waiting for the rain to stop, a brief warm-up was done before starting.
Como cada año colocaron una linda decoración alusiva al motivo de la carrera/caminata para tomarse fotos, por supuesto todas las mujeres querían tomarse fotos allí y se hacían largas filas para ello, era una locura.
As every year they put up a nice decoration alluding to the reason for the race/walk to take photos, of course all the women wanted to take photos there and there were long lines for it, it was crazy.
Las decoraciones siempre son diferentes y únicas y esta vez sí que lo fue, colocaron un enorme pendón con los nombres de todas las participantes y al menos para mí fue todo un dolor de cabeza ubicar mi nombre en el, se me perdía la vista buscando y con tanta gente pasando por el medio se volvió una pesadilla, por suerte después de varios intentos fallidos conseguí mi nombre. Fue todo un tema sacarme las fotos allí porque la cantidad de gente en ese lugar no era normal y todas las mujeres querían tomarse fotos al mismo tiempo, por estar sola fue difícil para mí pero siempre conseguía a una chica que me hiciera el favor y me tomara las fotos.
The decorations are always different and unique and this time it was, they placed a huge banner with the names of all the participants and at least for me it was a headache to locate my name on it, I lost my sight searching and With so many people passing through the middle it became a nightmare, luckily after several failed attempts I got my name. It was quite a problem taking photos there because the amount of people in that place was not normal and all the women wanted to take photos at the same time, being alone it was difficult for me but I always found a girl to do me the favor and will take the photos.
La lluvia no paraba y así mismo se dio inicio a la actividad, primero salieron las participantes de la carrera y 5 minutos después salió la caminata, estaba un poco nerviosa por mojarme en la lluvia y que eso me enfermara pero tampoco podía quedarme por fuera después de haber llegado tan lejos, asi que comencé mi caminata intentando llegar rápido a la meta para no mojarme tanto, sin embargo, de todas formas me mojé mucho, tuve que guardar muy bien mi teléfono y mi reloj para que no se mojaran ni dañaran, ni siquiera sé cuánto tiempo tardé en llegar, solo sé que este año lo hice más rápido que el año anterior.
The rain did not stop and the activity began, first the participants of the race left and 5 minutes later the walk started, I was a little nervous about getting wet in the rain and that it would make me sick but I couldn't stay out afterwards either having come so far, so I started my walk trying to get to the finish line quickly so as not to get too wet, however, I got very wet anyway, I had to store my phone and my watch very well so that they would not get wet or damaged, I don't even know how long it took to get there, I just know that this year I did it faster than the previous year.
Al llegar estaba me entregaron mi medalla (muy linda por cierto) y me dieron unas frutas, durante el camino habían varios puntos donde podamos hidratarnos y yo solo tomé una botella pequeña de agua para todo el recorrido.
When I arrived they gave me my medal (very nice by the way) and they gave me some fruits, along the way there were several points where we could hydrate ourselves and I only took a small bottle of water for the entire journey.
Aun me faltaban unas fotos en el stand de fotos y aproveché que no había tanta gente como al principio y me tome unas fotos ya con mi medalla, no me gustaron mucho pero no podía ponerme exigente porque ya se había formado una fila, sin embargo, son un buen recuerdo de ese día. Todo estuvo muy bien, de no ser por la lluvia habría sido todo mejor pero hubo que adaptarse al clima de ese día, además la actividad este año fue en la noche pero espero que para el próximo año sea nuevamente en la mañana, me parece mejor y más cómodo, pero como sea, fue una buena experiencia.
I still needed some photos at the photo booth and I took advantage of the fact that there were not as many people as at the beginning and I took some photos with my medal, I didn't like them very much but I couldn't get demanding because a line had already formed, however, They are a good memory of that day. Everything was very good, if it wasn't for the rain everything would have been better but we had to adapt to the weather that day, also this year the activity was at night but I hope that next year it will be in the morning again, it seems better to me and more comfortable, but whatever, it was a good experience.
