Cuando empecé a diseñar a los personajes de “Ángel Guardián” y llegó el turno de hacer los uniformes escolares para Kyrsiel y Gersiel, la primera idea que tuve fue vestirlos con uniformes escolares japoneses.
¡Me encanta lo elegante que se ven los estudiantes!
Luego pensé que, ya que la historia no estaba ambientada en ningún lugar en particular, sino que queda más abierto a la imaginación del lector, sería conveniente usar otro estilo de uniforme.
A mí me gustaba mucho mi uniforme en los últimos años de la secundaria. Así que decidí usar ese uniforme para ellos: chemise beige y pantalones azules. Para marcar la diferencia en las personalidades de ellos, puse a Kyrsiel con jeans azul claro, con el dobladillo solamente enrollado y zapatos deportivos mientras que Gersiel usa pantalón azul oscuro y mocasines.
Sin embargo, siempre quise verlos con los uniformes así que los dibujé con el tema “Si ellos fueran…”.
Hice el lineart con brochas de lápices y lo coloreé con brochas de lápices acuarelables para darle un toque diferente al estilo anime que me gusta usar con ellos.
Les comparto el proceso. No hice muchas capturas porque todo el coloreado lo hice en una sola capa y me concentré tanto que se me olvidó hacerlas durante el proceso.

When I started designing the characters for “Angel Guardian” and it was time to make the school uniforms for Kyrsiel and Gersiel, the first idea I had was to dress them in Japanese school uniforms.
I love how stylish the students look!
Then I thought that since the story is not set in any particular place, but is left more open to the reader's imagination, it would be convenient to use another style of uniform.
I really liked my uniform in the last years of high school. So I decided to wear that uniform for them: beige chemise and blue pants. To make a difference in their personalities, I put Kyrsiel in light blue jeans, with the hem only rolled up, and sneakers while Gersiel wears dark blue pants and loafers.
However, I always wanted to see them in the uniforms so I drew them with the theme “If they were…”.
I did the lineart with pencil brushes and colored it with watercolor pencil brushes to give it a different anime style that I like to use with them.
I share the process here. I didn't take many screenshots because all the coloring was done in one layer and I was so focused that I forgot to do it during the process.
