He estado compartiendo en los últimos días, más material sobre el Inktober pues es lo que he estado haciendo a diario, sin embargo, también estoy trabajando en más ilustraciones sobre la historia de Pete e Ylia para las actividades del grupo con temática de parejas.
Para esta ocasión, quise dibujar una escena donde Pete deje ver un poco sus celos al ver a Ylia hablando con su compañero Brando.
Él es un personaje bastante complejo al momento de mostrar emociones ya que, como he explicado en otros posts, el trauma que sufrió con la pérdida de sus padres, lo hizo cerrarse por completo emocionalmente y dedicarse de lleno al ámbito profesional, lo cual hace que las personas alrededor lo perciban como alguien frío, sin corazón y desalmado, como le ha dicho Brando a veces.
Pero eso no quiere decir que no sienta emociones, sólo que las sabe controlar y ocultar muy bien.
Por lo tanto, no sería del tipo de persona de hacer una escena sólo porque tiene un ataque súbito de celos, pero sí dejaría ver su lado que es más evidente: su mal humor cuando las cosas no salen bien o no se siguen los procedimientos.
Por su parte, Brando e Ylia, que sí conocen este lado no se atreverían ni a decirle una sola palabra cuando está asi, ¡no vaya a terminar mordiéndolos!
El diálogo que le puse a la escena fue el siguiente:
-¿Podrían apartarse del medio? Si no tienen nada que hacer, invéntense algo pero por lo menos, no estorben a los que sí tienen trabajo que hacer.
-¡?
He estado practicando el estilo de anime retro con tanto ahínco que una persona me escribió al ver esta ilustración y me dijo que, a primera vista, pensó que era una captura de imagen de la serie de anime original. Esto me hizo sentir muy halagada, ya que no es fácil lograr que las personas lleguen a percibirlo de esta forma.

I have been sharing more material about Inktober in the last few days, as it’s what I’ve been doing daily. However, I am also working on more illustrations related to the story of Pete and Ylia for the group activities with a couples theme.
For this occasion, I wanted to draw a scene where Pete shows a bit of his jealousy when he sees Ylia talking to his colleague Brando.
He is a rather complex character when it comes to showing emotions, as I have explained in other posts. The trauma he suffered from losing his parents caused him to completely shut down emotionally and focus entirely on his professional life, which makes people around him perceive him as cold, heartless, and soulless, as Brando has sometimes told him.
But that doesn’t mean he doesn’t feel emotions; it’s just that he knows how to control and hide them very well.
Therefore, he wouldn’t be the type of person to create a scene just because he has a sudden attack of jealousy, but he would definitely show his more evident side: his bad mood when things don’t go well or when procedures aren’t followed.
On the other hand, Brando and Ylia, who are aware of this side of him, wouldn’t dare to say a single word when he’s like this—wouldn’t want to end up getting bitten!
The dialogue I included in the scene was as follows:
- "Could you please step aside? If you have nothing to do, come up with something, but at least don’t hinder those who do have work to do."
- "¡?"
I have been practicing the retro anime style so diligently that someone wrote to me after seeing this illustration and said that, at first glance, they thought it was a screenshot from the original anime series. This made me feel very flattered, as it’s not easy to achieve that kind of perception from people.
