Remembering a beautiful reunion of families in faith

Every Thursday of every week we have a memory to share in this beautiful community, which can generate different emotions such as nostalgia, joy, sadness, in short, we always have something to remember. The memories that we have engraved in our memory of the past, is an important part of the well-being that we live in the present.
Today I want to share with each one of you, dear readers, happy moments of brotherhood that we lived a few years ago (2021) in my parish, in a meeting of the laity held in my city. The vice-provincial or bishop would set a date, which was usually between the months of February and March, with the purpose of strengthening the bonds of fraternity and union among brothers and sisters in the faith that make parish life in the different Catholic churches directed by the Redemptorist missionaries.
The activity lasted about three days, we arrived on Friday and left on Sunday, the three days we stayed in the same parish, in the seminary building, we were about 200 people. The purpose was not to go to pray, but to share and enjoy, to know and share with the people of the other parishes of the different states of the country, where the Redemptorist missionaries are, such as Caracas, San Cristóbal, Valencia, Maracaibo, Falcón, Barinas, Barinitas and Barquisimeto.
Of course there were some moments of prayer, but the meeting was based on sharing various topics, talks, games and at the end we had a gala party with dinner, snacks, drinks such as sangria, good music, mariachis, we danced until midnight, sometimes we dressed up in carnival costumes. I really remember these Redemptorist family gatherings very much, as I would like them to happen again. Nowadays they don't do them anymore due to economic reasons.
The last time the meeting was held, which is the one I am presenting to you, we were visited by a priest who came from Spain. One afternoon, we all went out to visit Mary's mantle, and he was impressed by the beauty of this monument and its architecture.

Hola amigos de hive y comunidad @ThrowbackThursday, espero que todos estén pasando un feliz jueves de TBT. Nuevamente con ustedes en esta comunidad de los recuerdos.
Todos los jueves de cada semana tenemos un recuerdo para compartirlo en esta hermosa comunidad, que puede generar diferentes emociones como nostalgia, alegría, tristeza, en fin, siempre tenemos algo que recordar. Los recuerdos que tenemos grabados en nuestra memoria del pasado, es una parte importante del bienestar que vivimos en el presente.
Hoy quiero compartir con cada uno de ustedes estimados lectores, momentos felices y de hermandad que vivímos hace unos años atrás (2021) en mi parroquia, en un encuentro de laicos celebrado en mi ciudad. El viceprovincial u obispo fijaba una fecha, que por lo general era entre los meses de febrero y marzo, con el fin de estrechar lazos de fraternidad y de unión ente hermanos en la fe que hacen vida parroquial en las diferentes iglesias católicas dirigidas por los misioneros redentoristas.
La actividad duraba alrededor de tres días, se llegaba un viernes y salíamos el domingo, los 3 días nos alojábamos en la misma parroquia, en el edificio del seminario, éramos como 200 personas. El fin no era ir a rezar, sino tener un compartir y disfrutar , conocer y compartir con las personas de las otras parroquia de los diferentes estados del país, donde están los misioneros redentoristas como Caracas, San Cristóbal, Valencia, Maracaibo, Falcón, Barinas, Barinitas y Barquisimeto.
Claro si habían algunos momentos de oración, pero en si el encuentro se basaba en compartír varios temas, charlas, juegos y al final teníamos una fiesta de gala con su cena, pasapalos, bebidas como sangría, buena música, mariachis, bailábamos hasta la media noche, algunas veces nos disfrazábamos en épocas de carnaval. Realmente estos encuentros de familia redentorista las recuerdo muchísimo, como quisiera que se volvieran a dar. Ya en estos momentos no los hacen por el tema económico.
La última vez que se realizó el encuentro, que es el que les presento, nos visitó un presbítero que vino de España. Una tarde, salimos todos a visitar el manto de maría, quedando impactado de este monumento por lo hermoso y por su arquitectura.
