A drone trip around Torquay harbour Contest 22

Well Hivers I was off into Torquay today to do a pinmapple post on the Living Coasts zoo. But while I was there it seemed like a good opportunity to take a few shots of the harbour.

After a quick check in with the Harbour Master to make sure It was OK and there are no issues flying sub 250gram drones. So I parked myself on the breakwater to fly the DJI Mini 3.

It was a little more windy than I had thought it would be but the drone was rock steady. And could have been nailed to the sky.

Living Coasts has closed but the aviary is still there.

Off to the left of the harbour is Beacon Cove, a small bay which has some sea grass beds with seahorses just offshore.

Just to the left of that the Imperial Hotel Torquays only 5 star.

Great views but I remember beer being about £5 a pint in the bar 15 years god knows what it is now.
Finally Hivers a couple of shots round at Beacon Cove to finish off

Nice and calm but watch out for the seagulls they steal your chips.
