Aerial shots of St Martha's Church, UK.

Good day Hiveans!

I have wanted to visit this hill for a while as it's one of the highest points on a 40 mile long ridge running west to east from Guildford to Rochester. At 200m high, it offers views over southern England and its natural beauty.

I was around the area for work, there was dense fog on the main roads but I knew that it was due to be a sunny day. Turns out, the conditions were perfect for flying so I decided to take a chance and advantage of it!

The climb by foot from the carpark is almost flat along the top of the ridge due to the drive up covering most of the hill. It was eerily quiet and quite surreal- walking through a chilled mist with warm waves of morning sun burning through it, no one around with only the odd bird chirping on the way.

Considering the location and views on offer, I'm sure I will go back at some point to take in the vistas but for now, I am very happy with the resulting images.

I always aim to edit photos to look as natural as possible, here only the shadows and contrast were adjusted.

Take care everyone.
