Hola amigos de la comunidad de Humanitas, espero se encuentren bien el día de hoy. En el tema del día de hoy hablaré sobre: Los Museos y la importancia que tienen tanto para la cultura de una sociedad como en la forma de ser una expresión para un artista. Mi hermana es una gran artista ya que se desenvuelve muy bien haciendo dibujos, pinturas y todo lo que le llene de inspiración para plasmarlo en papel, lo que siempre me ha hecho sentir orgullosa de su talento y de lo mucho que ha perseverado para cada día aprender más del arte y de sus distintas formas de expresión. Hace unos meses ella tuvo la oportunidad de compartir conmigo su experiencia en un museo de mi ciudad como parte de una de sus clases de la universidad y quedé impresionada con toda la creatividad que hay en aquel lugar.

In today's topic I will talk about: Museums and the importance they have both for the culture of a society and in the way of being an expression for an artist. My sister is a great artist since she is very good at making drawings, paintings and everything that fills her with inspiration to capture it on paper, which has always made me feel proud of her talent and how much she has persevered to learn more about art and its different forms of expression every day. A few months ago she had the opportunity to share with me her experience in a museum in my city as part of one of her college classes and I was impressed with all the creativity there.
Los museos son considerados como espacios fascinantes para mí donde durante siglos grandes y pequeños artistas han tenido la oportunidad de dejar un poco de sus obras en aquellas paredes que abarcan gran parte de los pensamientos, emociones y sentimientos de los seres humanos. Estos lugares no sólo son una forma de crear cultura artística en la sociedad sino también son parte de años de esfuerzo por parte de distintos artistas donde podemos ver que el ser humano a través de un diseño o una pintura puede llegar a expresar más que con las propias palabras.
Museums are considered fascinating spaces for me where for centuries great and small artists have had the opportunity to leave a little of their work on those walls that encompass much of the thoughts, emotions and feelings of human beings. These places are not only a way to create artistic culture in society but also are part of years of effort by different artists where we can see that the human being through a design or a painting can express more than with words.
Estos lugares llenos de arte por diferentes artistas, de todas las épocas y con cada una de sus propias particularidades nos lleva a pensar en lo que estamos observando e ir más allá de lo que el artista pudo haber querido demostrar. Muchas veces cuando veo las pinturas de mi hermana pienso que es una persona que siente muy intensamente y esto es algo que va arraigado en la forma de ser de muchos artistas, sin esto siento que las obras no lograrían transmitir nada al espectador y serían solo líneas y colores, pero cada persona piensa de manera distinta y en mí queda una sensación de asombro y de nostalgia cuando veo alguna obra aunque parezca la más simple o la más absurda, siento que soy una persona que aprecia mucho el arte en todas sus formas a pesar de no ser una artista como tal.
These places full of art by different artists, from all periods and with each of their own particularities, lead us to think about what we are observing and go beyond what the artist may have wanted to show. Many times when I see my sister's paintings I think that she is a person who feels very intensely and this is something that is ingrained in the way of being of many artists, without this I feel that the works would not be able to transmit anything to the viewer and would be just lines and colors, but each person thinks differently and in me there is a sense of wonder and nostalgia when I see a work even if it seems the simplest or the most absurd, I feel that I am a person who appreciates art in all its forms despite not being an artist as such.
Cada una de estas obras que vamos conociendo con los años nos deja algún aprendizaje y eso también es parte del arte, comunicar un mensaje que sea realista y que deje en la sociedad una forma de expresión hacia el cambio para ser mejores seres humanos. Por ello pienso que el arte desde cualquier lugar y a cualquier edad es importante, ya sea escribiendo, pintando, dibujando, cociendo, es algo que refleja la percepción de una sociedad y también de cómo manejamos los cambios sociales y culturales. Así como es importante aprender a leer y escribir, es importante inculcar más valor hacia los artistas y los museos, también apoyar a los pequeños artistas incentivando a que sepan que se puede llegar lejos si así lo deseamos y que a través de una obra pueden hacer cambiar una o muchas vidas.
Each of these works that we get to know over the years leaves us some learning and that is also part of art, communicating a message that is realistic and that leaves in society a form of expression towards change to be better human beings. That is why I think that art from any place and at any age is important, whether it is writing, painting, drawing, cooking, it is something that reflects the perception of a society and also how we handle social and cultural changes. Just as it is important to learn to read and write, it is important to instill more value to artists and museums, and also to support young artists, encouraging them to know that they can go far if they want to and that through a work they can change one or many lives.
En los museos además de conocer obras podemos conectar con otras personas de diferentes edades o países, es un lugar dónde podemos conectar con la esencia del artista y con la pasión con la que cada uno de ellos se expresa en su obra. Es una manera de poder nutrir la mente y también de aprender de lo que otros perciben a través de las pinturas mientras que a la vez nuestro propio conocimiento se expande y poder lograr conectar con alguien en un sitio como el museo es una de las cosas más bonitas que encuentro de la vida. No hay que dudar del poder que tiene expresarse a través del arte, puede llegar a ser terapéutico y hasta liberador si sientes que no sabes cómo expresar de manera correcta tus emociones.
In museums, in addition to getting to know works of art, we can connect with other people of different ages or countries, it is a place where we can connect with the essence of the artist and with the passion with which each one of them expresses themselves in their work. It is a way to nourish the mind and also to learn from what others perceive through the paintings while at the same time our own knowledge expands and to be able to connect with someone in a place like the museum is one of the most beautiful things I find in life. There is no doubt about the power of expressing yourself through art, it can be therapeutic and even liberating if you feel you don't know how to express your emotions in the right way.
Me gustaría que en mi país y en mi ciudad hubieran más lugares como los museos para visitarlos y poder conocer el arte pero no solo quedarnos con lo que podríamos encontrar en el museo, también conocer que hay artistas pequeños que se encuentran en su habitación y que solo tienen las redes sociales para poder compartir un poco de su alma y de lo que más les apasiona hacer y también saber que nunca es tarde para expresar nuestras emociones a través del arte, nunca sabremos si con lo que tenemos en mente por hacer pero que nos parece poco importante podríamos cambiar una o muchas vidas.
I would like that in my country and in my city there were more places like museums to visit and be able to know the art but not only stay with what we could find in the museum, also know that there are small artists who are in their room and only have social networks to share a little of their soul and what they are most passionate about doing and also know that it is never too late to express our emotions through art, we will never know if with what we have in mind to do but that seems unimportant to us we could change one or many lives.
