Quienes me conocen saben que soy un amante de la cultura griega, sobre todo su mitología sin duda alguna es uno de los epicentros de su ADN, ahora bien, atendiendo a la iniciativa de repensar los mitos vino a mi mente en mito de prometeo encadenado, uno de mis favoritos y uno de los pocos que pude leer en griego clásico, aunque eso hace ya algunos años. Asi que pensé, como podría darle una relectura al mito hoy en día.
El mito de Prometeo es una de las historias más emblemáticas de la mitología griega, una en pocas palabras se puede decir que simboliza la lucha por el conocimiento y el sacrificio por el bien común. Pero, ¿qué pasaría si trasladamos esta historia a la era digital? Así que estimado lector Imagina conmigo a Prometeo como un community manager en una BigTech. Pero antes de proseguir con esta idea, recordemos un poco el mito de Prometeo en el caso que no lo conozcas.
En la cultura Griega, Zeus es el padre de todas las cosas, y luego de crear toda la vida en el planeta, le pidió a Prometeo y a su hermano Epimeteo que proporcionarán características y dieran forma y cierta jerarquía lo creado, es por eso que algunos animales tienen garras y dientes afilados, otros son veloces, otros son agiles, otros vuelan en fin, así fueron los hermanos dotando a cada criatura de elementos que le aseguraban su supervivencia, ahora bien, olvidaron al ser humano, este no tenía pelaje para protegerse del frío, no tenía garras para luchar, o aletas para nadar, no tenía nada, y frente a este hecho, Prometeo robó el fuego de los dioses y se lo dió a los humanos. Esto molestó indeciblemente a Zeus, y le condenó a estar encadenado por toda la eternidad a una roca, y cada día un ave de rapiña, le comería el hígado.

En este sentido podemos entender como el Robo del Fuego como una referencia qa que el ser humano posee conocimiento como los dioses. Esta nueva oportunidad le permite continuar su misión de empoderar a las personas con información y herramientas realmente útiles, demostrando que la verdad y el conocimiento siempre encuentran su camino.
A modo de reflexión final sobre esta historia de Prometeo como community manager resalta la importancia de la transparencia, el acceso a la información y el empoderamiento de las personas. This new opportunity allows him to continue his mission of empowering people with truly useful information and tools, proving that truth and knowledge always find their way.
