Buen día a todos. Estoy de vuelta en esta comunidad porque cuando a uno lo etiquetan dos veces, hay que hacer el trabajo. No hay excusas. Si no sabes de qué va esta iniciativa, te invito a que revises las bases aquí.
Creo que es imposible no pensar en el fin de nuestra existencia. Cuando tengo mucho tiempo libre, siempre me pierdo en pensamientos de este tipo. A mi parecer esto es ligado a la conciencia. Tener conciencia es saber que el tiempo en el mundo es finito. Pensar en mí fin es producto de la mezcla muy rara de Nietzsche y Camus que hay en mi mente. Pero eso es tema para otra publicación.
Considero que la muerte le pone sentido a toda la vida. Sin muerte solo hay eternidad. Y me iré un poco a mi lado gamer a decir que estas dicotomías entre vida y la eternidad (su verdadero opuesto semántico) son exploradas de manera magistral en los juegos de From Software como Dark Souls, Sekiro y más recientemente Elden Ring.
Y me gustaría aclarar que soy anti-cementerios. Me gustaría que esos espacios fueran llenos de árboles donde la sepultura tuviera un fin más importante. Se que hay cápsulas donde un árbol se nutre de un fallecido y eso es una idea interesante de devolver al mundo parte de lo que tomamos de el. Esa sería mi idea de una tumba ideal. Mientras eso nos es legal en todo el mundo, creo que lo mío será la cremación.
Pero igual se podría dejar un mensaje interesante en una urna.
Creo que mi frase sería esa que ya vieron en la portada. Es algo que escuché de mi abuelo por muchos años. Recuerdo haberlo escuchado decir eso muchas veces. Claro, su frase textual sería <<para morirse, cualquier día es bueno>>. Lo decía así porque se refiería a sí mismo. Consideraba él que ya había logrado muchas cosas en su vida.
Para mí, la frase carga con una realidad sobre la vida. Esta es un momento fugaz. Lo veo como un amanecer o atardecer. La comparación la hace incluso más hermosa cuando tomamos en cuenta que estos fenómenos naturales ocurren a diario y quizá nos perdemos mucho de eso todos los días sin darnos cuenta.
La vida se pierde de la misma manera cuando no somos conscientes de nuestras acciones y no tenemos una idea clara de a dónde vamos.
La frase también funciona como una especie de advertencia. Podrías morir mañana y después de ahí, todas tus metas se acabarían. Nada de lo que dejaste pendiente se podría resolver.
Recuedo que un amigo muy estimado de estos lares de la web3 suele terminar sus publicaciones con esta frase sobre no vivir la vida en automático. Si deseas lograr algo, debes trabajar en función de eso.
Los muertos no trabajan ni tienen arrepentimientos. Bueno, eso no lo sabemos, pero la primera persona en ir y volver de la muerte todavía no ha aparecido para echarnos el cuento sobre el más allá.

I think being sentient is a heavy burden. Wondering about my demise is a common activity during my free time. Consciousness is a very complex thing. In my case, there's a very weird mix of Camus and Nietzsche in my thoughts. So hardly doubt I would be lost in anything different.
Regarding death, it's a concept that gives meaning to life. Though they might seem opposite, they're not. The semantic opposite of life is eternity. There's no room for dying there. I would love to delve into this concepts that I believe are explained masterfully in From Softwar's games such as Dark Souls, Sekiro, Elden Ring. But that's a gamers bias.
And I would also love to point out that I dislike graveyards. The whole space the occupy could be turned into something more useful like a garden or even a forest. It would be given back to earth some of the things we take. Thus, preserving the cycle of life. I know there are capsules to do that now. Graves that nourish trees. It's a beautiful idea, but it isn't legal everywhere. Until it is, my resting place will be an urn. I'm pro cremation. And an epitaph would look just as cool on vase.
My last phrase would be that one I showed on the thumbnail of the post. My favorite way to translate it is "to die, any day". My grandpa used to say that any day is good for dying. That's where I got this phrase. And I heard him say it often since I was 6 or even younger. Of course, he had accomplished a lot in his life and knew his time was near.
The phrase also carries some poetic meaning. Life is short. It is but an instant in the great scheme of things. Similar a sunrise or sunset. If you blink, you miss it entirely. It is happening everyday and we could be wasting our time or paying attention to unimportant affairs.
How much of our lives are wasted looking elsewhere isntead of following the things we would like to do.
"To die, any day" also works as a cautionary tale. Any if us could die today and all our goals would do the same. There's no finishing business after we depart.
There's a hiver I admire a lot who ends his posts saying that life is something you shouldn't live on autopilot. You need to be conscious of the actions you need to take to achieve your goals and live the life you desire. There are no guarantees. Do nothing, accomplish nothing.
Dead men tell no stories nor have regrets. Nor any of the ones we know. The first person to come back from the dead is yet to come and tell their story about how it was like to be dead.
Remember you could die any day and start doing the things you love.
