This is my entry for THE VALUE OF $1000 IN MY CURRENCY , writing contest hosted by @bhattg
Here where i live , Malaysia . According to google converter , the value of 1000 USD to MYR is almost equal to RM 4,399.50
In 2022 , the minimun wages according to our government rule and regulation is RM 1,500 . So , 1000 USD in my country it almost 3 month salaries for some worker .
WHAT KIND PROFESSION YOU HAVE TO WORK TO HAVE MONTHLY PAYMENT OF USD 1000 .
For that kind of payment , you need to work at least as senior in any field of work such as senior engineer , senior architect and other kind of senior title . While in government field , you need at least graduate in Master degree to start with that kind of salaries .
Of course you ll consider rich people if you have that salaries in my country. But to save from that salaries is depends on your expenses and where you stay. If you stay at busy city , you ll have a little money , or no money to save and sometimes you ll end up with debt to be pay every month.
LAST WORD :
Personally i wish to have that of salaries each month , but it still long way to go for me (at least) to reach that goal.
CONCLUSIONS :
$1000 is not just the value of money we have but also the value of people in life hierarchy . This show occupation , education and lifestyle .
