A New Day, A New Start
This is an epilogue of RDR 2, where the player can play as John Marston. This story will continue in RDR 1 which centers around John Marston and his family. I thought the game finished, but post-scene the new scene starts as John Marston is riding his horse cart to Strawberry.
The new scene starts with a sunrise where John rides with his family in search for a job.
As the family enters the city, Abigail tells John to hitch up and they both walk down the streets to find a job.
John enters a store where the owner wants John to deliver the items to the south of Strawberry.
John gets back to Abigail to tell her that he found one job of delivery and they need to leave for ranch.
Abigail also shares that she found a job as a nurse.
John gets back to the store to onload the items on his cart.
After loading the items John starts riding towards the destination. John is hiding his identity to stay away from any problem.
The environtment looks a bit different as around nearly 8 years has been elapsed in the change of story. Arthur died in 1899 and currently the game year is 1907.
I can see the forset are getting less denser and the paths are more matured.
I can't say what season is this but it looks like the start of summer.
Some trees shed their leaves and the snow caps behing the forest is visible as well.
John gets to the ranch safely. Abigail and Jack are not with John as they statyed back in the Strawberry city.
The ranch looks beautiful and covers a good area. There is a beautiful stream located just adjacent to this ranch.
John gets down from the cart and calls the person to collect the item.
The old man appears and he is manager of this ranch, managing activities. He is not the owner.
Two persons appear from the back of the cart and they don't look friendly.
They thank John for this freebies and take the control of this cart. They threaten manager and John to follow their orders if they want to live.
However these people are unaware about the history of John that he was a gang member. They kick the old man and starts riding the cart.
John gets on his horse and starts chasing these nuisances.
John jumps on the cart and kicks them down. John does not uses his gun while dealing with them. John wants to stay clean.
He takes back the cart to the ranch where manager thanks him for helping out.
Manager does look a bit suspicious on John as John was able to handle two gangmen so easily. He again asks John about his identity to which John replies that he is a common family man trying to survive in this wild west.
