I don't know if anyone has the same habit as me, but I'm the kind of gamer that likes to pass almost all the secondary missions before facing the final boss. I don't consider it a symptom of cowardice, on the contrary, it helps me to enjoy the game experience much more. And considering that some games I play on hard difficulty, I don't think it's a good idea to try to pass a main mission with a low level. I say this from my own experience.
Additionally, the fact of doing secondary missions also allows me to find curious things like the one that gives rise to today's story.
It turns out that a few days ago I was doing a series of secondary missions that consisted of investigating some vandalism acts carried out on the houses of some farmers. When I arrived at the place of the events I immediately noticed that they had destroyed almost the entire structure of the houses using fire.
At first I thought it might have been thieves or even an accident, but as I followed some footprints I realized I was wrong. As I hid behind a tree I could see in the distance how some boggart were frolicking around the altar of a deity linked to fire. I wanted to get a little closer to investigate further, but they detected me and I had to eliminate them.
After finding out what had happened, I had to go to the village to report that the attacks were the work of those beings. While I was walking there was an idea that was constantly in my head. If I remembered correctly, near there were some ruins that were plagued by these beings and if I went there maybe I could find out more.
To my surprise I didn't find any boggart when I arrived, but I did find a diary next to a corpse that told a very, very interesting story.
According to the diary, in these ruins there were three urns with some magic stones inside which if I placed them in the right order I could summon the spirit of a friendly boggart. Immediately, to my mind came the idea of a companion, because while in most games I like to walk around, I just think a companion in this one would be interesting and I would like to try it out to see how useful or useless it could be.
I won't lie to you by saying it was easy, because even though the urns are relatively close, you have to place the stones in a specific order and place. And after trying several times and receiving several penalties, you can finally summon the companion.
The truth is that I was very happy to have succeeded and after understanding how it worked I decided to take a few selfies with my new adventure companion. My new friend was the same size as his kind and did not take any harm from me, although he did follow me wherever I went.
After a very good selfie session it was time to test the combat skills and what better than doing it against someone just like him. By the way I decided to call him Boggie you know why he is a boggart 😂. At first I felt like I was in a pokémon fight, but little by little I realized that my partner was losing and I decided to intervene.
For now I am very happy to have gotten Boggie. We'll see how long it lasts and how many adventures we'll have. In the meantime I say goodbye wishing you a beautiful day and see you in a future post.
