To locate Soma's longship, I chose to row a tiny boat solo through foggy waters littered with destroyed ships. After using Synin to scout a bandit camp, I quietly eliminated the guards, freed the Norse captives, and learned Soma had fled east into the swamps to lose her pursuers.
I had to find and reach Soma's longship, and I was running for it alone to find out what happened after the siege. The Summer Army's leader stayed back, which was strange given the danger as he didn't want to join me to face their battle.
I could take my longship and my soldiers with me to provide heavy reinforcement, but I decided to do it solo to avoid detection. So I took a tiny boat from the dock and pushed off into the reeds.
On my way through the thick fog, I noticed some drowned longship and some fallen soldiers floating on the water, showing signs of a brutal ambush. And there were marks that I scooped while I was rowing the boat along the shore.
Upon reaching close to the spot where the river narrowed, I called my raven, Synin, to check around from above. I noticed there was a broken longship taken to a land, and there were a lot of captured Norsemen, along with another group who was searching for something around.
After getting to the muddy spot, I had to finally speak to Soma, who should be around in the swamps hiding from the search parties. But the whole land was crawling with bandits, so I took some time in taking them down silently first.
After taking care of all the bandits, mostly with my hidden blade, I freed the captives from their bindings. One of the Norse Warriors told me Soma dragged the Saxons east from her longship to tire them out and lose them in the fog, so I checked where east goes after getting to her longship.
That's all for now.
