Today I'm going to share some original work by the artist known as Zmogk.
Born in Moscow in 1979 and currently living in Greece, Konstantin Danilov.
This virtuoso muralist and painter was one of the first pioneers to use graffiti as an art form in Russia in the 90s. His works bring vibrant color to murals that were once gray and indistinguishable from the others around them.
A visual artist, his interests also include engraving, digital publishing and drawingclose locations on paper and other media.
Taking emotional fields to another level, Konstantin brings his own peripheral vision to a unique and valuable interpretation of our surroundings. Mixing memory with emotions and the relationship of their boundaries in the human mind, he explores those boundaries, bringing light and color to a spectrum not easily approached in everyday life.
In this particular work, which I believe was a direct association made by him, he brings us all the emotion of a Portuguese musical style, which has already traveled the world at the expense of a great Portuguese singer and fado singer by the name of Amália Rodrigues.
Anyone who has visited the city of Lisbon and spent more than a few hours at the airport, and who has had the opportunity to wander the streets of the old quarters of the Portuguese capital, is sure to have come across several Fado houses (where, after a meal of typically Portuguese food, customers are treated to a live session of Portuguese Fado). This type of music is usually sung by one person (man or woman) who, accompanied by one or two musicians (classical guitar and Portuguese guitar), lets the lyrics enter the heart and soul of the listener in a unique way, even if they don't understand Portuguese. The sentiment conveyed by the lyrics, the intonation and the dedication and expression led to this type of musical art being elevated to the category of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO in 2011.

Hoje vou aqui partilhar um trabalho original do artista conhecido como Zmogk.
Nascido em Moscovo, no ano de 1979, e a viver atualmente na Grécia, Konstantin Danilov.
Este virtuoso muralista e pintor, foi um dos primeiros e pioneiros a usar o graffiti como forma de arte na Russia, nos anos 90. As suas obras, trazem uma cor vibrante aos murais que outrora eram cinzentos, e sem qualquer distinção com os demais em seu redor.
Artista plástico, tem também como seus interesses a gravura, edição digital e desenhos em papel e outros suportes.
Levando os campos emocionais a um outro nível, Konstantin, trás a sua própria visão periférica para uma interpretação única e valiosa do que nos rodeia. Misturando a memória com as emoções e a relação das suas fronteiras na mente humana, explora esses limites trazendo luz e cor a um espectro não muito facilmente abordado no dia-a-dia.
Nesta obra em particular, que acredito ter sido uma associação directa feita pelo próprio, trás até nós toda a emoção de um estilo musical português, que já correu o mundo muito às custas de uma grande cantora e fadista portuguesa de seu nome Amália Rodrigues.
Seguramente que quem já visitou a cidade de Lisboa, e passou mais do que apenas algumas horas no Aeroporto, e teve a oportunidade de se perder pelas ruas dos bairros antigos da capital portuguesa, deu consigo a encontrar várias casas de Fado (que após uma refeição de comida tipicamente portuguesa, os clientes são presenteados com uma sessão ao vivo do Fado Português. Este tipo de música é normalmente cantado por uma pessoa (homem ou mulher), que acompanhada por um ou dois músicos (guitarra clássica e guitarra portuguesa), deixam que a letra entre de forma única no coração e na alma de quem a ouve, mesmo que não entenda o Português. O sentimento transportado pelas letras, pela entoação e pela entrega e expressão leva a que este tipo de arte musical tenha sido elevado à Categoria de Património Cultural Imaterial da Humanidade pela UNESCO em 2011.
