Hello art community🎨, today I want to show you what I found during a walk through the streets of Havana, Cuba🕰️. How much street art can reflect and how its meaning changes over time.
Hola comunidad del arte🎨 hoy les vengo a enseñar lo que encontré en un paseo por las calles de la La Habana Cuba🕰️. Cuanto puede reflejar el arte callejero y como cambia su significado con el tiempo.
Most people know the figure of Ernesto Guevara, better known as Che⭐. His image, commercially sold on pullovers👔 and t-shirts, is a symbol of struggle and resistance for many. Che, for his support of the Cuban cause, despite not being Cuban, holds great significance and is considered a symbol in Cuba. So much so that years ago, a wall🖼️ was stamped with the slogan ‘Hasta la victoria siempre’ (Until victory always) . We can see how time⏳ has not only eroded the wall but also the slogan.
La mayoría de las personas conocen la figura del Ernesto Guevara, más conocido como el Che⭐, su imagen comercialmente vendida en pullovers👔 y playeras es un símbolo de lucha y resistencia para muchos. El Che por su apoyo a la causa cubana, amen de no ser cubano tiene una gran relevancia y es considerado un símbolo en Cuba, tanto así que se decidió hace años estampar un muro🖼️ con la consigna de "Hasta la victoria siempre", podemos ver como el tiempo⏳ no solo derruyó el muro sino también la consigna.
In front of Che’s portrait, we find the contributions of many other artists👨🎨 who made their mark with interesting mixes of all kinds, immortalizing their brand〽️ with the hope that it endures. After all, the goal of an artist should be to fulfill the purpose of art🎨, leaving proof that humans were here.
