Hello dear StreetArt community, this is my first post in the community, I want to introduce myself and thank this network for allowing a space for street artistic expression. My name is Carlos Torres, I currently reside in the city of Cali, lover of life, my family, music and art in general. I have been on the hive network for three years and it is a pleasure for me to be able to share the street art of my beloved city of Cali, Colombia.
Hola querida comunidad de StreetArt, este es mi primer post en la comunidad, quiero presentarme y agradecer a esta red por permitir un espacio para la expresión artística callejera. Mi nombre es Carlos Torres, actualmente resido en la ciudad de Cali, amante de la vida, de mi familia, de la música y del arte en general. Llevo tres años en la red de hive y es un gusto para mi poder compartir el arte callejero de mi querida ciudad de Cali, Colombia.

In the heart of the city of Cali, in what is undoubtedly one of the most important streets in the city, we find this beautiful mural where we see a beautiful woman with a very festive appearance, looking out and fixing her curious gaze on what seems the pink zone of the city, I think this girl is ready to go out and enjoy the crazy nights of the capital city of salsa and dance.
En el corazón de la ciudad de Cali, en la que es sin duda una de las calles mas importantes de la ciudad, encontramos este hermoso mural donde apreciamos una hermosa mujer con una apariencia muy festiva, asomándose y fijando su curiosa mirada en lo que parece la zona rosa de la ciudad, creo que esta chica esta lista para salir a disfrutar de las alocadas jornadas nocturnas de la ciudad capital de la salsa y el baile.

Located on Calle 5 and Carrera 5, in a north-south direction we can appreciate all the beauty of this mural if we come by vehicle, or we can walk through the well-known Puente Chorizo sector and the old El Puente hotel to get to it.
Ubicado en la Calle 5 con Carrera 5, en sentido norte sur podemos apreciar toda la belleza de este mural si venimos en vehiculo, o bien podemos caminar por el conocido sector de puente chorizo y el antiguo hotel el puente para llegar a el.

Further south on the same 5th street, in what were the old ruins of a supermarket that in 2021, at the time of the national strike in Colombia, was looted, burned and bankrupted by all these events. In this place we now find a beautiful mural, where we see some of the most characteristic birds of the area, personifying what appear to be musicians of an orchestra and as I see they seem to be enjoying giving an excellent musical presentation.
Mas hacia el sur en la misma calle 5, en lo que eran las antiguas ruinas de un supermercado que en el 2021 en la época del paro nacional en Colombia, fue saqueado, quemado y llevado a la quiebra por todos estos eventos. En este lugar ahora encontramos un hermoso mural, donde vemos algunas de las aves mas características de la zona, personificando a lo que parecen ser músicos de una orquesta y según veo parecen estar disfrutando al dar una excelente presentación musical.

Located on Calle 5 and Carrera 26, near the Pascual Guerrero stadium, in a very central and busy area of the city, we find this space that was recovered thanks to art. Now it has become a favorable place for artistic recordings, cultural events and without a doubt a great display of street art to appreciate.
Ubicado en la calle 5 con carrera 26, cerca al estadio Pascual Guerrero, en una zona muy central y concurrida de la ciudad, encontramos este espacio que fue recuperado gracias al arte. Ahora se convirtió en un lugar propicio para grabaciones artísticas, eventos culturales y sin duda una gran muestra de arte callejero por apreciar.

I am very happy to find in this network a space to share the street art of my city and to be able to show different positive aspects that this art brings to the community and the city's infrastructure. I hope to continue sharing content in this community and take advantage of this space to make a kind of log of the murals, graffiti and street art that have caught my attention for years.
