I am John Patrick Lagrana from philippines.this is my first time to post on this community.I just want to showcase my talent about mural related to Children's month celebration last October. It was celebrated globally.The celebration aims to every child's right. They have the freedom to chase and catch their own rights.We all once a child and we all know that a child cannot catch their rights with help of parents and the assistance of the government. They are too innocent to captured their dreams and rights.

The process:
The painting itself describes the rights of every child (Philippines) and togetherness that no one left behind inspite of pandemic.It shows the holistic view of a child chasing Ang catching his right with the help of the parents. I was inspired by Impressionist artist Vincent Van Gogh to create this masterpiece the reason why is that children is playful they can explore new thing and express their emotions. Related to the impressionism style . This can create a freedom of lines,shapes,colors and emotions depend on artist views.For me,it is suitable to paint.The rights of children is like unboxing treasure box.We can not explore nor assume what's inside unless we open it.It gives hope and assistance for children.The Philippine flag symbolizes the Philippine government that continuously supporting every child's dream and rights. As you can see the flying object emphasized every rights of a child(related to Philippines) such as name,shelter,food,protection,rights to play and enhance potentials,education,right to love ,to have a family and etc. The water portrayed a pandemic or Covid-19 that one impact to child's right.
