A Coffee?
When we talk about murals and urban art we enter a truly immense world, where numerous artistic currents fit perfectly, which each one in its own way and with its individual characteristics seeks to convey a specific message, which often is linked to political trends, at other times shows us a social reality and several times gives us interesting cultural notes, but in general each piece is a sample of the artist's own feeling for that moment, which reflects on the surface their feelings, dreams and desires.

¿Un Café?
Cuando hablamos de murales y arte urbano entramos en un mundo verdaderamente inmenso, en donde caben a la perfección numerosas corrientes artísticas, las cuales cada una a su modo y con sus características individuales busca transmitirnos un mensaje en específico, el cual muchas veces va ligado a tendencias políticas, en otras ocasiones nos muestra una realidad social y varias veces nos regala interesantes notas culturales, pero en general cada pieza es una muestra propia del sentir del artista para ese momento, el cual plasma sobre la superficie sus sentimientos, sueños y anhelos.
This combination of factors is what undoubtedly results in truly impressive, interesting and at the same time magical works, which often transcend the dimensions of a simple wall, to become a portal to the unknown, in a window that does not show strokes and shades of unique characteristics and great colorfulness.
Esta combinación de factores es la que sin duda alguna da como resultado obras realmente imponentes, interesantes y al mismo tiempo mágicas, las cuales muchas veces trascienden a las dimensiones de una simple pared, para convertirse en un portal hacia lo desconocido, en una ventana que no se muestra trazos y matices de características únicas y gran vistosidad.
In a wandering tour through the streets of the Chacao municipality east of the city of Caracas I came across this impressive mural, which unfortunately I do not know its author, but undoubtedly has become one of the pieces of urban art that has caught my attention and, therefore, one of my favorites, since it is a deep design, with interesting color games, which gives us a doll with old clothes, but with a futuristic vision, which with its strong look and great presence invites us to enter a shop that is presumably dedicated to the sale of coffee and some snacks.
En un recorrido errante por las calles del municipio Chacao al este de la ciudad de Caracas me encontré con este impresionante mural, el cual por desgracia desconozco a su autor, pero sin duda alguna se ha convertido en una de las piezas de arte urbano que más me ha llamado la atención y, por lo tanto, en una de mis favoritas, ya que se trata de un diseño profundo, con interesantes juegos de colores, el cual nos regala a una muñeca con vestimenta algo antigua, pero con visión futurista, la cual con su fuerte mirada y gran presencia mos invita a entrar a un local comercial que presumiblemente se dedica a la venta de café y algunos snacks.
It is great to find by surprise with pieces of urban art of these characteristics, but the most incredible thing of all is to be able to come across images that impact us and touch us deeply, because in this way we are enjoying to the maximum of a type of art that is totally different from the traditional, but that actually hides an equal or superior beauty, to tell the truth I also like when these works have a somewhat anonymous character, because this allows me to dream and wander in what could be happening in the mind of that unknown artist, so it becomes a rewarding and deeply interesting experience.
Es genial encontrarse por sorpresa con piezas de arte urbano de estas características, pero lo más increíble de todo es poder cruzarse con imágenes que nos impacten y nos toquen profundamente, ya que de esta forma estamos disfrutando al máximo de un tipo de arte que es totalmente diferente al tradicional, pero que en realidad esconde una belleza igual o superior, a decir verdad también me gusta cuando estas obras tienen un carácter algo anónimo, pues esto me permite soñar y divagar en lo que pudiera estar pasando en la mente de ese artista desconocido, por lo cual se convierte en una experiencia gratificante y profundamente interesante.
