I'm sure that we'd all like the alley behind our home to be as well decorated as this one. It would become a welcoming place for children to play and neighbours to talk and not just a passage for garbage trucks (like mine đ€ą).
The project of this green alley (reserved for pedestrians) was entrusted to the duo Waxhead and Cryote who invited a few friends Paula P Rezende and Labrona to make this place more than pleasant.

We start today with the artist whose first works are displayed in this series, Paula P Rezende and her colorful universe :
Paula Prezende is a Brazilian visual artist and illustrator from SĂŁo Paulo with a very playful style full of mermaids, women, catfish with stars and water in background.

Waxhead
The other artists are regulars in this series Street Art, very prolific in Montreal and especially in my neighbourhood, even during the lockdown (Street Art #296 about his works in social distancing).
Born in Toronto, Waxhead is street-artist, painter, and creature creator (as he says) now based in Montreal since 2012. His style is quite unique, very coloured and detailed full of whimsical creatures.
"In high school, I was painting a lot of characters with dripping heads, that seamed like they were made of wax. So my friends gave me that name based on the creatures I was painting and I thought it sounded cool and it was fun to write." - Waxhead about his nickname (source Studio Visit for Mural Festival)

Based also in Montreal, Sebastion Millar aka Cryote is street-artist closed to the 203 crew.<

Labrona
Based in Montreal, Labrona is a street artist, skateboarder, record collector. His work features characters typically Labrona-esques, faces with multiple colors underlined with marked black lines. Very active this year as you can see on my last post Street Art #299 with two collaborations with Kevin Ledo.
