This weekend, I was finally able to take a quiet and long walk in the streets of Montreal, more than 3 hours to walk through the alleys of the city, some beautiful walls found completely at random and known places to follow their evolution. But also some pictures impossible to take, the sun was there, either the front sun or one part in the shade and the other full sun. I noted the places and I'll return... And this morning the snow came back, 5 cm at least but fortunately it didn't stay on the ground.
Today I present you a wall which had been tagged, and Monk.E with the help of Serak decided to give a second youth to his work during last autumn
Ce weekend, j'ai enfin pu faire une ballade tranquille dans les rues de Montréal, plus de 3 heures à parcourir les ruelles de la ville, quelques que beaux murs trouvés complètement au hasard et des endroits connus pour suivre leur évolution. Mais aussi des photos impossibles à prendre, le soleil était de la partie, soit complet contre-jour ou alors une partie à l'ombre et l'autre plein soleil. J'ai noté les lieux et je vais revenir... Par contre la neige est revenue ce matin, 5 cm au moins mais heureusement elle n'est pas resté au sol.
Aujourd'hui je vous présente un mur qui avait été taggé, et Monk.E avec l'aide de Serak a décidé de redonner une seconde jeunesse à son œuvre pendant l'automne dernier:

Comme vous pouvez le constater photo prise cet hiver, on voit seulement la partie faite par Monk.E, sur la droite le lettrage de Serak commence.

Always same biography, regular artist of my Street Art series. Monk.E is a Canadian street-artist and musician, he defines himself as an Alchimiographist. He started graffiti with the K6A crew. Since Monk.E imposes his artistic vision all around the world in music and painting.
Toujours la même biographie, artiste régulier de ma série Street Art. Monk.E est un artiste et musicien Hip-Hop canadien se définissant lui-même comme un Alchimiographiste (j'aime beaucoup le terme). Il commença le graffiti en fondant le collectif K6A. Depuis Monk.E a partagé sa vision artistique partout dans le monde.

Serak
Serak aka the Golden Rackoon is artist from Montreal member of K6A crew. It's easily recognizable with its gothic letters. You can find more of his lettering on my old posts.
*Serak aka **Golden Rackoon *(traduit en français c'est moins cool 😀 ) est un artiste montréalais membre du collectif K6A. Il est facilement reconnaissable avec ses lettres gothiques. Vous pouvez retrouver plus de ses lettrages sur mes anciens posts :

You can still see the old mural in the background. I really like the filling of the lettering with this slight gradient to join the original color.
On aperçoit encore en arrière plan l'ancienne murale. J'aime beaucoup le remplissage des lettrages avec ce léger dégradé pour rejoindre la couleur d'origine. 👍
