Here is the first post about the 26th edition of the Atreet Art festival Under Pressure which took place at the beginning of August in downtown Montreal. During the official weekend of the festival, Monk.E and Luvs made this great mural.

Voilà le premier post sur cette 26ème édition du festival de Street Art Under Pressure qui s'est déroulé au début du mois d'aout au centre ville de Montréal. Durant le weekend officiel du festival, Monk.E et Luvs ont fait cette superbe murale :

On the left, Monk.E and the two horses on the right were made by Luvs.

During Under Pressure, one of the oldest urban festival in North America, we always see quality walls with very talented artists (as you'll see in my next posts, I still have some pictures to take to show the works in detail).

Durant Under Pressure, un des plus vieux festival urbain en Amérique du Nord, on voit toujours des murs de qualité avec des artistes très talentueux (comme vous allez le constater dans les prochains posts, j'ai encore quelques photos à prendre pour montrer les œuvres en détail).

Monk.E

Bio from my previous post about him, Monk.E is a Canadian street-artist and musician, he defines himself as an Alchimiographist. He started graffiti with the K6A crew. Since Monk.E imposes his artistic vision all around the world in music and painting.

La bio provient du dernier post que j'ai écrit sur cet artiste. Monk.E est un artiste et musicien Hip-Hop canadien se définissant lui-même comme un Alchimiographiste (j'aime beaucoup le terme). Il commença le graffiti en fondant le K6A crew. Depuis Monk.E a partagé sa vision artistique partout dans le monde.

Luvs

Little information on this artist, Luvs seems to be an artist from Toronto who came to Montreal for the festival. And so much the better.

Peu d'informations sur cet artiste, Luvs semble être un artiste de Toronto qui est venu faire un tour sur Montréal pour le festival. Et tant mieux...

"With this creation, Luvs and I wanted to conceptualise around the idea of absolute black and absolute white and the dramatic aesthetics generated by rythmicaly placing these 2 in direct relation."

"Avec cette création, Luvs et moi avons voulu conceptualiser autour de l'idée du noir absolu et du blanc absolu et de l'esthétique dramatique générée par le placement rythmique de ces 2 éléments en relation directe."
