STREET ART #171 – Wall art in Bryne, Norway

A few weeks ago I visited a friend in Stavanger, which is a few hundred kilometers from my hometown Kristiansand. I took the train. It stops at at a number of stations on the way. One of them is Bryne. I was sitting on the train during the few minutes it stopped for people to get off an on, I did get the the opportunity to take a picture. But through the window of the train. Didn't take the chance to go out The first photo is a mural painted by norwegian street artist Pøbel as a tribute to the famous Norwegian footballer Erling Braut Haaland. He currently plays for Manchester City. He also plays for the Norwegian national team. He is well known as he is considered to be among the best football players in the world,

The next day I was back in Bryne again as part of doing some walks along the coast. A short walk through the city led us to these two huge murals. The "Rockfarmer" and " The Girl". The farmer is the guitarist Kaizer, but this time not with a guitar (according to my friend whom I was visiting). The building is "Bryne Mølle", a former corn mill. On the wall there is a sign telling the name of th plaza - Kaizer Plass. A pleasant surprise to see street art here in Bryne.
