STREET ART #138 - Along the river Tagus in Lisbon (Portugal)

01.jpg

Lisbon is located by the River Tagus, which provides a wonderful walk along the river. We stayed in the district called Belem, even though it's a little outside the city center. While staying in Lisbon, we had chosen Belem, mainly because our priority was to visit many of the museums and sights in this district.

On our second day we walked to the city center. I think it was some 6 / 7 kilometers. Almost all the way along the river. This is a building we passed on our way. I do not know what the buildings are used for, nor in what context they are painted. It may look like an advertisement / information about a mural project.

The next mural we passed, is painted at a train stop next to the city. A woman was sitting on the bench waiting for the train. I had to wait ten minutes for the train, to be able to avoid getting her on the photo too.

Almost in town now and from here we start to walk away from the river. A gorgeous mural that I remember @akida has posted as a contribution to our street art contest. It was so nice to see it for real and recognize it from the contest.
