For this weeks entry of the CCC's Street Art Contest a make a big jump from the Algarve in Portugal to a town called Warrnambool in Victoria, Australia, very close to the famous Great Ocean Road. The artists name is Adnate and his bourgeois name is Matt Adnate. Matt is part of the AWOL Crew and is known for his spray painted portraits featuring Indigenous women and children.
I´ve seen a few murals from him, mostly in Melbourne and I already made a post about it before. For me this, this one mural is one of the most impressive ones I´ve seen. So huge and so colourful...it still blows my mind.
Just google his name and your jaw will drop. It is absolutely crazy what this guy is able to do with paint and a huge wall. If you ever happen to be in Australia, not very likely at the moment, keep an eye out for his paintings.
