Today's post I dedicate to the city of Toulouse in which I spent several happy days. What is most strongly recalled me? Of course, - the bright colors of city autumn. We started our acquaintance with the city in the central city park. If the central park in New York fits the epithets of a large and world famous, so the park of Toulouse I could describe with the word 'graceful'. The park has a large collection of various plants and trees. In the photographs you can see a multi-colored carpet of leaves, which gives an additional charm to the park
The red-pink facades of the historic center of Toulouse contrast with the blue sky and colorful foliage. It has been written more than once that Toulouse is called the pink city. I am not too lazy to mention this fact. I spent more than one hour strolling through the old quarters of the central part of the city and contemplating the architecture created by pink brick
The life of the central part seemed unhurried. People are relaxed, smiling. On the streets there are a lot of cafes and restaurants. It is hard to find a place at lunch time. I noticed that the inhabitants of Toulouse take food during lunch from one and a half to two hours. There are jokes at the table, laughter. A friendly, fun atmosphere reigns. Nobody is in a hurry!
It seems to you that everyone around is enjoying life, sitting in a cafe, riding bicycles, walking in parks. But no, this impression is misleading. In a man washes off fallen leaves from the pavement. Here the workers are engaged in the reconstruction of the ancient facade. But the waiter, he manages to serve 12 tables with visitors!
I happened to visit several cafes in Toulouse. I was especially impressed by the Opera coffee house. The interiors of the cafe are made in the Baroque style. Many cafe visitors sit with their heads held high. Do not be surprised! They are considering a chic ceiling painting.
Another cafe I remembered for its colorful audience and excellent panoramic views that you can contemplate from the cafe terrace. The prices in the cafe are very high
I really like to look at the architectural details of buildings. Of particular interest are the gates and doors of old buildings, such as this blue portal
No one pays attention to the unusual shape of the building (photo below). But in vain. The building is built in the shape of a triangle. This occurs with the radial shape of the city plan.
A separate conversation is a French showcase. This is real art. In this matter, only Italians can argue with the French
A showcase entices you and you surrender to the power of shopping passion. Even in the changing room you can appreciate the high-quality graphic design.
This showcase I would give an Oscar for visual effects
Crowds of passers-by rush about their business, ignoring Jeanne. Maybe one of the three passers-by knows who is sitting on a bronze horse.
This idol is more understandable to modern man. This one guards the entrance to the store.
We contemplate a touching picture. A pig named Romeo and his master make a living by selling candy. The owner argues that all the money will go to food a friend of Romeo, whose name is Juliet
We could not resist and visited the art museum of Toulouse. I really wanted to see the paintings of Ingres, but his halls were under reconstruction. I want to show you some of the female images that impressed me the most
This pink woman is very elegant and sophisticated
This Picasso masterpiece is simply fantastic. I like to draw in this style
The eternal plot. He is overwhelmed by lust. She pulls a hand to his wallet.
What a strange proportion! Excessively large head and small body. What did the artist want to say?
Refined Middle Ages portrait. Exquisite color combination. Everything is wonderful here!
With this portrait I complete the post. I really love pastel. This masterpiece is executed in pastel. Delicate skin, crystal sparkling eyes ... Is this really done by human hand? This is some kind of magic!
