The $THGAMING Token
Token Minting
When we first launched the $THGAMING Token (1st Feb 2022) it was with plans to develop slowly, providing a way to rewards our Guild members and in time upvote their Hive Blog posts with our own curation token. Due to the Bear Market we did not think that there would be any major buy ins or the huge amount of support that was received.
With a number of large investments into our Initial Coin Offering (ICO) and Hive support from our earliest partners @tokenpimp, @lolztoken, @pgm-curator and the @oneup-cartel, we were quickly able to upgrade our Hive contracts and expand use-cases for the Token.
The $THGAMING Token explained
- $THGAMING is the Curation & future Governance Token of 'Threshold Guardian Gaming' aka THGaming. We rely on investor & gamer input and our Whitepaper to determine the direction of the Guild.
- @jim-crypto (Founder) and @entrepidus (Operations Manager) control the day to day operations within THGaming Guild. Our official Curators and Twitch streamers help to spread the word and upvote posts on the Hive Blogging networks.
- On Hive-Engine.com the $THGAMING token can be Traded for $SWAP.HIVE, Staked for your own $THGAMING Voting power or Delegated to a Curation Account for passive rewards (see Pic below)
ABOVE - Our favourite Hive Blogging Platform (front end) www.peakd.com makes it super easy to Stake, Unstake or Delegate Hive-Engine Tokens, simply by clicking the down arrow next to that Token, seen here in the Red Square. Many Layer-2 Tribe Tokens allow you to stake them to increase your Voting Power in those Tokens, while some act as 'Miners'. Once Staked, these Tokens become locked up for a certain period of time but are now able to earn through different means. It's up to you to research each Layer-2 Token yourself and figure out the best ROI.
Guild and $THGAMING Developments
At time of writing the $THGAMING token is sitting within more than 6500 $HIVE wallets, including 25 THG Whales - accounts holding more than 100 000 tokens.
Due to strictly controlled Distribution Mechanisms, only 2.57% of $THGAMING is currently minted (circulating), with plans to ramp up the distribution as use-cases increase and global cryptocurrency markets improve.
As mentioned, $THGAMING has been upgraded to allow Staking, Delegation and Curation rewards on Hive Blogging platform posts. Utilizing the hashtag #thgaming and/or posting in our community will allow your Blog posts to be upvoted (tipped) in $THGAMING Tokens.

Curation Accounts
The following Hive Curators, run by different Tribes, will distribute passive rewards based on the specific terms of that Curator. I will briefly explain how each THGaming Curator works.
ONEUP CARTEL CURATION : The first major THGaming Curation account which is owned and operated by the @oneup-cartel. Delegate your Staked $THGAMING to @thg-curator and earn a percentage of all of the $THG earnings. With 4.494 Million $THGAMING Tokens Staked and Delegated to this account, it is the largest $THG Curator on Hive. Token dividends are distributed daily.

LOLZ FUN HOUSE : Earn $LOLZ tokens by Delegating $THGAMING to @lolz.thg. The 'LOLZ Fun House' has a number of Curation projects and right now we are delegating 15 tokens to different LOLZ Curator accounts - $ALIVE, $BEATCZ, $CENT, $CTP, $DUNK, $LIST, $MEME, $NEOXAG, $PGM, $PIMP, $SME, $SPORTS, $THGAMING, $WAIV, $WEED.

FALLEN ANGELS : The Fallen Angels are a Splinterlands Guild which recently began running their own Curator project. Delegate a minimum of 1400 $THGAMING to the @fallen.angels curation account for a chance at winning @Splinterlands NFT prizes and $THGAMING Tokens.
PLAYER GAMER CURATION : One of our earliest Hivechain Partners was the Player Gamer Community, governed by the $PGM Token. Delegate Hive Power (HP) to the @pgm-curator account to receive $HIVE, $THGAMING and $PGM on a weekly basis.
The SWAP.HIVE:THGAMING Liquidity Pool
- The SWAP.HIVE:THGAMING Liquidity Pool offers instant Swaps of $THGAMING for $HIVE, or vice versa. A Rewards Pool contract distributes automatic rewards to Liquidity Providers.
(Above) Providing Liquidity at a 50 / 50 Split of $SWAP.HIVE and $THGAMING will earn you liquidity rewards in all of the rewards tokens seen above. Add liquidity yourself on the DCity Beeswap Platform or on the Tribaldex Dieselpools Frontend.
Gaming Use-Cases
One of the main missions of @THGaming Guild is to create use-cases for our Token within gaming ecosystems, specifically on $HIVE. Right now you can use $THGAMING in two games:
Splinterlands Integration
The Token can be used in @splinterlands tournaments as Entry Fees and Prize payouts; automatically transferred once the Event is completed. We have been sponsoring quite a few Streamer Tournaments with $THGAMING and Splinterlands NFT Prizes.
King of Duels Minthagg Packs
We've also partnered with the @kingofduels game to bring 200 Limited Edition THGAMING 'Minthagg' booster packs. These are purchasable through the KOD Website using $THGAMING tokens. This pack includes our first Guild gaming NFT in the form of the super powerful 'Minthagg' card. If you are one of the new @kingofduels players this is a great pack to add to your arsenal!
As the Guild economy expands, so too will the level of decentralization, as $THGAMING already distributes itself through a Curation Rewards Contract on Hive, and through our newly released $MINTHAGG Mining Tokens.
