Hello world and fellow Hivers

Before we are going, to begin with, the main article, I would like to state a quick update about the things I wrote in my previous post. So, as I wrote this week I am going to upload a post about my journey to a Greek island. Any of you who like that type of content except gaming should be aware because I am definitely going to need your opinion and feedback. Stay tuned and I will wait for your comments. Now, let's go back to the more important stuff and more specifically review a battle with the card Magi of Chaos. As always the initiative for this episode is the Share your Battle Challenge from

Review of the card

Magi of Chaos is the highlighted card and it's a card that I didn't play much before but I cannot say that is a bad card. It has pretty decent stats even from level 1 but it gains really an edge at level 3 with extra attack damage. Also, level 5 gains a new ability Opress which means that it does double damage to monsters that have no attack, and at level 6 the attack damage becomes 4. Overall I would say that is a great damage dealer when you want to play a magic attack formation.

Ruleset

Fog of War: Monsters lose the Sneak and Snipe abilities
Holy Protection: All monsters have the Divine Shield ability
Also, we've got 30 Mana available and we can play all classes

Summoner Selection

In order to select the most fitting summoner for each battle individually, you should consider many facts, such as the ruleset and the history of the opponent you are going to face. In this situation, we must use a monster that attacks with magic damage, so I decided to use a completely Magic attack formation and of course the most fitting summoner that I can play is Delwyn Dragonscale. Also, the Fog of War ruleset makes it a little bit easier to select this kind of approach.

Team presentation

Pelacor Conjurer is the first card I chose for the tank position in this battle. It's not the first time I use this monster for this job but there is a reason that I like it so much. Let's begin with the most obvious which is the cost of it, with 2 mana only we've got some incredible stats and 2 awesome abilities at level 4. The flying ability is pretty decent because it causes many enemy monsters to miss a lot when they are attacking and the magic reflect ability is doing some serious damage to magic attackers.

Bila the Radiant is the second card I used and this card did the majority of the dirty job in the battle. So the major reason I chose it was the ability it has Life Leech which means that whenever it deals damage to an enemy monster a proportion of this damage adds up to its HP. In combination with our summoner, we manage to add 2HP with every hit. Really powerful card and in this situation secured our win.

In third place, I placed Djinn Renova and the reason I chose this particular card was obviously that it's a magic damage dealer and the ability it got. The Strengthen ability increases the Health of all monsters in our formation and toughens up our monsters a little bit.

In the fourth place, we've got the highlighted card Magi of Chaos. Obviously, the whole formation builds around this card and it was the requirement for the challenge to use it. In this case, it is used as a damage dealer and it fulfills its purpose pretty well IMO.

Finally, the last place was filled by the card Naga Assassin. I chose this monster mainly because I had to fill the last 2 mana and that card has great speed. My thought was that if my opponent played an opportunity monster this card could counter it with the high speed it has. Pretty useful card and great stats for only 2 mana.
